I used a brown Huntress with gigantic swept back red hair in 3U and 4U.
This time I felt a change was needed, so I went with the most pale Huntress possible and BLONDE gigantic swept back hair. Really branching out.

I feel like I'm cheating by using Energy Charge to extend the duration of Demon Riot on my SA to pretty much infinitely. Not only do I get infinite sword mode but it's also stronger.

In 4U, there is no GP for the A charge.

GPs happen anytime a move ends with your shield out in front of you, including when you transform. If you press a button to transform, either from the touch screen or Start, it's an instant GP. Otherwise you have to press X just before R. It's finnicky.

I must confess my sin, I enjoy playing striker IG.

I've seen videos of people using more than one hunter art with Adept style during a hunt. I figured that maybe you'd unlock the ability later in the game but I'm at 5* Village and can still only equip one art with adept LS.

Is there a specific questline that let's you bring in more arts? I haven't touched Hub yet if that matters.

You always want to focus more on Raw than Element.
Raw hitzones are usually worth more than element, so element primarily exists as supplementary damage.

Using Arzuros as an example here, it takes 55% of your raw damage and 20% of your fire towards it's head.
The 170+32 weapon ends up dealing 93.5+6.4 for a total of 99.9 damage.
The 200 does 110 through raw alone.

The numbers get more complex when you factor sharpness, motion values, and all that other shit, but that should give you the basics on how damage works.

It's a Gore Magala quest chain that's given by Ace Commander. The quest is a HR6 Watch your Steppe, after completing that, you'll unlock the quest for hyper gore magala.

I don't know what unlocks Watch Your Steppe, if you haven't unlocked that though.

There are several sets you could go for. Narga armor has the incredibly convenient Evade extender for SA, and expert for more damage. Expert has to be gemmed in, though. Ceanataur is similar, except it swaps Evade extender for Razor sharp, which halves sharpness depletion. It's helpful for keeping a Seregios weapon constantly sharp. Rathalos gives Attack up and Weakness Exploit for major damage.

Alternatively Bujabujabu, but you seem already past the point when it would have been helpful, since you have bigger range of choices now.

Stat-wise, it has good water and ice resistance.

Skill-wise, you get halve hunger and Bubble, which has a chance to cover you in bubbles when you evade (The bubble status effect gives you something similar to constitution and evade+1)

The HR armor set also gives Crisis, which gives you an attack boost when you're suffering a status effect, which the bubbles count toward.
