I almost resubbed to see what the new class changes are (mostly ret paladin), but I talked myself out of it by reminding myself that no matter what has changed, blizzard will inevitably nerf us again because of bitch boy whiners, and the fact that I know no one who plays retail, and even if I did, there is still nothing to do but sit and do boring garrison mission shit. the only professions that make any gold are enchanting and tailoring. The best way to make gold is by queuing up for LFR that will give you a role bonus bag and doing old raids while you wait in queue. I made 10k in the last 12 hours doing that on my rogue. Blackhand, the imperator, and walled city regularly give dps bonus bags and you end up getting 600 gold from each from a run that takes less than 10 minutes to complete
