Same, I've poured countless hours into SC4, over all of the years, even when I got bored, a month or two later I'd be pulled right back in. Been going this way for longer than I cared to count. Huge cities, dedicated to the Katawa girls, still no space shuttle. I've been thinking strongly about just unzipping my data here on my new PC and binging for countless hours. No matter what, it always drags me back in. THE POINT IS, I was kind of hoping Skylines would do that for me but it's too rigid, it doesn't feel interesting once you figure it out, as opposed to SC4 which to this day I'm not even close to figuring it out.

I'm pure F2P on Hearthstone. I pushed for a long time but I've lost the fervor lately. Maybe if I had a PC like this a year or two ago I could've really jumped on the meta. As it is, I'm relegating myself to gimmicks and aggro butthole warlock with gimmicks.
I don't even mind C'thun that much, I still fall to the typical 'oh he has Ragnaros I guess I lose' sort of play. Best Legendary I have is Lorewalker Cho. Golden one, no less. I do what I can with it.

I think I go against the norm whe I say I actually liked Simcity 2013. While the city plots were small, I felt like it had a lot to offer, like the modular system. SC4 was what got me into city builders though, it was amazing. I loved the rush hour dlc when you could drive around your city.

I think I've spent at least $500 on Hearthstone, probably more. Every classic, GVG and TOG card (never finished TGT) and all the expansions. I do love the game, but I get really salty when I lose. 2 or 3 losses in a row and I can't play for the rest of the day

I mostly played Control decks due to the amount of Legendaries I can field. Also your golden cho is enough dust to make any legendary.

It was neat, but to what purpose? It didn't really have a deep enough system to back it up, I'm fine with my choices just being the 'big building' or the 'not quite as big building' if the rest of the game responds better to it.
I didn't even mind the size of the map so much, the game was just shallow. I could go on about it all day. Like, what's the point of curvy fanciful lanes if the 'extra' space, which the game clearly fills with park, doesn't provide any value whatsoever? Just one of a million annoyances I had over that game.

That's a whole other conundrum. See, I got it out of my first pack ever. When that happens, you don't just dust it. It's been a lot of fun, Cho's been a good friend to me, I use him well. Sure, I can get any Legendary I want, but at this point that's become a small move, getting one Ragnaros or Sylv or whatever means a lot less now, I'd still be failing almost as hard.
I'm the same as you about losses, I can't handle more than one or two. I had more patience back in the day, or maybe it was just that not everyone was so meta-driven back then and I could play against other dudes with creative decks.

Honestly Cho is actually quite good, I put him in a lot of decks when I get to rank 5 because there are so many spell orientated decks, like Miracle Rogue and Shaman, not to mention mage and warrior.

Yeah I love making fun decks, like I made one called "For Stormwind!", when I could only use cards that had alliance heroes on them. Was fun, but I think I went 2-13 with it

and obviously don't dust anything if it has sentimental value

Cho fills a niche for me, which itself seeks to fill a niche in games somewhere in the 'unexpected crazy stuff' department. I always like those in games.

Fuck fuck fuckity fuck fuck.

So I was trying to download a ringtone onto my phone, right? So i went, got my usb, plugged it into my computer, plugged it into my phone. So I have one of those swivel chairs, and it happens to be right by my closet.

Now, my closet doors isnt any normal closet, my closet doors function as a mirror as well, You slide it open.

So I swiveled on the chair , and tipped it back slightly, and I accidentally stuck my foot in an empty popcorn bowl, now I the chair falls backwards, and my 6'3" self is falling backwards on a mirror closet door.

Mirrors are unbroken, but the thing is is I think I dislodged half of one, it sways around now, and the other one is 1/4dislodged.

If the mirrors are a rectangle, on all 4 edges they are locked in my a sort of device thingy. 1/4 edges on the front ones device is fucked up, 2/4 edges on the backone is fucked up.

I figured out how to fix it at least.
I observed the bottom half that wasnt broken and it seems it slides through a hook type of dealio. I thought I broke the hook but it just seemed to have retracted. Now I just have to pull it out, shove it into the slot, and be very gentle with it.

Imagine you had glasses, the lens is held together by all 4 sides, now imagine that 2 of those sides dissapear. The glasses are still there and the lens is too, but now the lens can move back and forth (or side to side).

Piers Anthony's Xanth series is good for some lighthearted fantasy humor.
Slaughterhouse Five if you want a book that'll make you trip balls.
Catch-22 is a great War Fiction, it feels very like the TV show M.A.S.H. but in a book and with aerial bombardiers instead of medics.
I got a soft spot for Andalite Chronicles and Hork-Bajir Chronicles, these are prequels to the Animorphs series, but are a lot different and are more heavy sci-fi with a lot of cool descriptions, but easy pacing.
That's a few off the top of my head.
