I downloaded Conception 2 from CIAngel and works fine and all but when i close the app and open FBI or any other homebrew app it just crashes the whole system. Also cant seed the game with FBI because it gives me a 404 error.

/hbg/, about a year ago I bought two N3DSs by jewing them for $100 each out of Walmart and installed A9LH on one of them. The other one I never opened up.

Which is worth more moneywise when it comes to resell - a brand new unopened N3DS, or a N3DS opened solely to install A9LH (and maybe a bunch of 3DS games dumped and installed since I have a lot of physical carts)?

If it's worth mentioning, I'm pretty sure I can downgrade this other N3DS to 9.2 and it's likely to have a TN screen since my first N3DS did.

To play a GBA game you have to do install to the Actual nand?

Total scrub question. After installing a .cia with FBI, am I good to delete the .cia file to free up space on my SD?

I have: target o3ds, hacked o3ds (RX. 11.0) and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.

My problem is that when I use "change name of the secret team", it triggers the hack but then the game crashes and the console proceeds a reboot.

I think that the problem is about the 1.4 update. In fact, the target console have this update but it seems that the hacked doesn't have it.

Where can I find a flawless AS Pokemon cia update?

I'm on luma with an emunand. I get an error code 022-2534 when trying to use the eshop. I've read the problem is that I have my nnid on both sysnand and emunand and that I have to format both in the system settings. I don't really care about losing my saves I just want to know if formating will screw anything up. I don't have access to an sd card reader either so if I screw up its permanent right now.

Which files do I need if a deep decryption of a CIA fails?
I already put all slot files on the SD card and updated the seeddb.bin.

NTR will be able to unlock items that are locked behind amiibos, but things that require amiibos to function will never work. The last emunand backup I had was on an older emunand firmware with rxtools instead of luma. Also, I think my nands are linked now for some reason because when I changed my theme in emunand it changed my sysnand theme.

I want a cheap handheld that can emulate old games.
PSP seems to be good since it has a shit ton of variety as well as the PSP games itself, but I don't know anything about it.
Do all of the emulators run well? Which version should I get? Do I need anything else besides the system and an sd card?

All the emulators run great. If you're planning on using CFW then you may as well get the PSP Go as it is the most portable. The PSP Go also has 16GB of internal storage so you'll be able to fit plenty of games on there. If you need more storage you can get a Micro SD to MS Pro Duo and use a spare Micro SD you have (if you have one). Other than that, all you need is the system itself, an SD card and a way to transfer files from your computer to the SD card.

It auto-updates. And no, there hasn't been an update for over a month.

It suspends downloads when internet cuts out, even if briefly. But I think there's a bug that makes it so it doesn't start back up without you manually doing something like closing/reopening or just suspending/resuming the app with home button.

Hey /HBG, I've been following the guide for 3DS hacking, and I've made it to the end of part 4.

OTPHelper failed to verify my NAND, and I received the "FIRM0 hash mismatch" error.

I'm at severe risk of a brick at this point, and so I've been following the directions extra carefully. Step 9 says to select "FIRM Dump and Inject", but I only have "Partition Dump and Inject" on my menu. Firm isn't showing up at all.

Please tell me I'm not fucked.

Turns out I'm not fucked I think? I bit the bullet and went into the "Partition dump and inject" menu and after that, the steps matched up perfectly fine with the troubleshooting guide. I followed the steps and tried the One Click Setup again, and still failed though. Validation stage 0 succeeded, but 1 and 2 failed.

I'm trying to restore sysNAND and redNAND and I'll restart from where the guide tells me. I don't know what happened to cause these errors though.

Is there a way to apply updates if you have a game of a different region than your 3ds is?

I have an EU 3ds with a9lh installed, sometimes usa .cia have an update (i get prompted to download it on the home menu) and if I press the buttons to install it seems like its installing but, the prompt won't go away and the update won't install.

Is there a fix for that or I just have to download cia of the same region?
