Aight so you got a blue pot. I don't know which mat you used first, but it's either darkness or water and the second mat is gonna be fire or water.

The purple potion is easier since you only got 1 element per mat so it's just a matter of remembering the order you plunked them. As I am assuming that based on the order you put them in locks in that mat as a certain element.

So for example say that soup was placed in first, then it's automatically fire and the nail is water. So even if you put in the same mats but reversed it would be read in the first order you put them in to produce the purple potion

As for your next move I'd say combo the hair and Albert to see what you get.

Since you got a purple pot it means those materials to create it are confirmed for those elements. Which rules out the combo of double water for the blue pot meaning confirming you a dark element and now you just gotta figure out if the second material for it is water or fire.

i'm too lazy to think through every possible answer and there might be a better strategy out there, but I'm fairly certain you need to do two intial tests with four different materials, then figure out which of your pre-tested materials you're going to match with one of the two remaining unknowns. You then deduce the identity of the last material through elimination.

This leaves you a 50% chance of being correct with a guess, as you still won't have figured out the identity of the individual materials for the other potion, but you have two guesses for a reason. I hope someone smarter than I am or some reddit autist makes a flowchart at some point.

It's not just FP. FP is bad, but anyone who gets into the game for real is just going to keep having their tolerance tested.

So you get to level 86. That's actually pretty good. That represents at least a week of playing ~2 hours per day. You got a good chunk of gametime out of that.

Then OV is limited to only about 1, maybe 1.5 hours of gameplay per day. And unlike leveling to 86, you're doing the same few dungeons over and over. And you're doing this for over a month, easily, even with all the new ways they've gotten of getting chron sets.

Then Ancients and True Ancients are maybe 40 minutes to an hour of gameplay per day. Less, if you're geared. And they're the same dungeons over and over again. And this grind takes 2-4 months, depending on how much you decide to grind and what you're trying to get.

And then Anton is a 4 month grind at maybe 30-45 minutes per day - IF you can find a party - of the same 5 dungeons.

By actually grinding - when you CAN grind, when you're not limited by entry counts or entry costs - you'll MAYBE double the speed you progress at, but it'll take you easily 3-4 times longer per day, and you'll just get burned out by the easy, 5-minutes-long content that much quicker.

Face it. This game is Dailies: The Game. And the only argument I EVER hear about why dailies are good is really just an argument for why they're not BAD - they're a SMALL TIME INVESTMENT. What are you, a loser? Why can't you invest 5 minutes per day into this game. Which begs the question, why is your best defense of the game, "well you don't even really have to play it that much!".

I stopped really playing a while ago. It's just not worth it to me. I've experienced enough of the current content to last me for a good, long while. I got some decent equips on the Hell casino such that anything left for me to get is just a marginal upgrade for months of work.

It's not amazing. I've got full Chrons, some Legendary pieces, and a bunch of Epics from the last Shall We Hell. Got the 3rd BiS Epic weapon for my class. I can't put up with daily grinds, so I don't have Gigantic Presence or a Legendary set.

And you know what's sad? I have an Anton Legendary I grinded for. I played Anton for about 3-4 days to get the Antonium for it and it was fun. I honestly had fun. It's nice to have short-term goals. They make you feel like you're progressing. But the game doesn't let me have that. Best you can hope for is the 3 week slog PER Legendary. In my eyes, 2 months TOPS to get all the rewards from content. One for most of it.

The Dark Elf shit would be cool if I weren't locked into 2 entries per day, making it impossible to actually unlock the highest - and therefore only interesting - difficulty without spending 1-2 weeks doing the boring ones first. You've ignored any and all substance in my post and headed straight for the minor issues you can debate on endlessly without ever losing because there's no way for either side to win. Why do you do this? Is it a defense mechanism? I know I've done it, and even I don't fully understand why.

I know you probably don't think you do, consciously at least, but whenever I've done what you're doing I've had at least a second of clarity where I've gone, "hey, am I just posting now to have the last word?"

I hope that not everyone in the thread is as jaded as you. That they bother to actually think about why they're playing and what they like about the game. I don't like to see people manipulated. I know not everyone's as strong-minded as everyone else, not everyone bothers to self-reflect. I know that sounds conceited. I don't really care.
