To be fair LoD Vlad was all bark really even in Apocrypha. Yeah he is strong but he never gets even close to win anyway, he only gets close to the Grail because Shirou transfers the rights of the Red Masters to himself and the Red Servants take a blow due to it, a chance that LoD Vlad uses to try to get the Grail. And then Shirou shows up and destroys him unceremoniously as was his plan all along.

Until that point yeah he pulled two or so impressive blows but that's it, other than that even the text agrees they were actually handling him fine. He never killed anyone or even damaged any of the Servants fighting against him in any significant way. He is the very definition of a stalling boss.

LoD can be used outside of Romania. We know this because it's used outside of Romania. Vlad himself would never use it, though. And forcing him to activate it would backfire almost every time since he's practically guaranteed to go on a rampage whenever it's used. Honestly, I think it's an alright NP. It's a cool idea for one, no way Vlad Tepes wouldn't be summoned without something that relates him to being Dracula. But Higashide needed some way to build up a threat, so he made it that powerful and then glossed over every weakness it was exposed to so that the story wouldn't fall apart the moment Karna walked up and stabbed the vampire from behind while everyone was still stunned.

Ozzy isn't that strong if you can bypass his restrictions. Divine servants aren't affected as badly by his temple and Ozzy himself isn't the best fighter, he just has a lot of toys. People like Hercules, Achilles, and Karna wouldn't have nearly as much terrible with him. These are all people that can fight pretty well without NPs too. Hercules and Karna could probably destroy the temple, along with anyone with an anti-fortress NP.

That's true. Higashide is a bad writer. Not the worst in the franchise, but close. Apoc done by Narita would be one of the best parts of the franchise, since he knows how to give equal spotlight to the interesting characters and seems to actually understand compatibility compared to Higashide.

Karna actually fucks Ozzy up thanks to compatibility. His main attack is a sun laser, and he has lower Divinity than Karna while also being of the sun deity's lineage, so Karna would get another big damage reduction on top of what KnK gives. Karna could take care of the sphinx without much of a problem if Arthur could, and if the enemies in the temple in GO are flame spirits then it's even worse for Ozzy, since Karna can't be hurt by them thanks to his natural resistance to fire. Since he became a god, the temple can't seal his NPs or skills, so Brahmastra Kundala could destroy the temple walls, and probably kill Ozzy outright if he scored a direct hit, and if push came to shove Vasavi would definitely be able to kill him. Karna's a compatibility nightmare for Ozzy.
