You can still heal people faster with it and the uber gain rate has been only watered down to 34 seconds instead of 32 until full charge if they aren't already overhealed.
Also the thing where you blastjump with your heal target only applies to the quickfix instead of the others, where they just made it to where you can pocket scouts and people that go faster easier.

Or maybe I'm missing something and that's not the complete reason why you're upset.
