As a former Ingress player, I warned everyone of this. Niantic is well known for making great games like this and Ingress, but if you ever want them to add features, respond, etc.... good luck. I've been seeing so much talk of all of these new features people are expecting and all I can do is shake my head. IMO the game will never be any more complete than it is today. Not even 5% more. With the exception of trading, and adding more pokemon which is already confirmed.

A pokemon that is higher level, but has lower CP/HP, is going to be worse than a lower level with higher CP/HP.
Only thing is that you can't determine the exact level, so if they have same stardust requirement, you really won't know which one is better.

Additionally, you won't know which is better of two pokemons which are different levels, and the lower level one doesn't have higher CP/HP.

Hmm, well from what I understand the game has to be on the screen to count steps. You can use the battery saver, which is supposed to make the screen go black but retain the open game status when your phone is turned upside down, but it never really worked for me do I can't confirm our deny it's functionality.

I'm going to guess that the pokego wrist band will allow you to count steps with the app closed, but there's still little weird on the actual functionality.

Doesn't really matter once you hit level 8 anyway; you just get a bigger energy bar, which is less than useful when you have a boatload of power cubes and a fistful of Lawsons to fill it back up again. Anybody at level 8 or greater can use maximum-damage weapons and make good strong portals, so if you're into covering whole counties under control fields, medals mean shit.

Missions are... alright I suppose, but I can and will downvote every single mission that wants me to do more than "hack portal". Sorry, but you want people who may not be uber-players to create a field underneath 10 layers of fields, pinned with fully nasty-modded portals, in the middle of a city? Whoever the fuck thought THAT was a good idea can fuck right off.

tl;dr: I still play Ingress, it's still a fun game (especially when you run circles around an army of the opposing faction and all they can do is smack talk), but I have a whole mountain of salt to dump on Niantic about some of the shit they've done.
