What ENB are you using? The Weather window can be opened from the enbseries window, you'll see a section that says Shaders, Weather etc. Just click the Weathers one and it'll open.

If you're messing with the dof you already have the Shaders window open, so check out the other dropdown menus in there. the enbeffect.fx window, for example, is extremely powerful for adjusting color, contrast, tonemapping and much more.

This is what I'm using right now, and I'm loving it:

Tony's Kountervibe ENB edit (ripped his sweetfx from the recent one along with his enbeffectprepass.fx files)

I get 60fps anywhere without the enb enabled with a 660ti, with it enabled I drop to about 30. Exteriors can get rough (fights can freeze for a second), so I don't use it (probably due to mods), but interiors I often turn the enb on if I think of it. Either way, at any time I can enable the enb and take some great pics/videos as well. There's probably a better enb, but this one works perfectly with vivid weathers obviously, so I just stuck with it, cause really, it doesn't matter and it's configured to work with that weather system already.

Anyone ever have this issue with XPMSE where no matter how many times you uninstall or drop even 50%+ of your mods, you still can't figure out what conflicts with the weapon style system?

Also did anyone else boot up MO and get a weird change where the left hand panel is full of categories now? I don't even know what I did to get this, but there's sub sections with stuff like creatures & mounts, environment, etc with a 50% chance of getting the files in them right for the category.

I'm worried that the shuffle of my files might break my game, but I'm also scared of disabling them manually as I have no idea what the consequences would be.

Well XPMSE has the MCM for styles and the like so make sure you don't have any animations conflicting with it. Are you talking about where weapons would jitter between the right position and a wrong one? If you describe your problem a bit more I might be able to help.

So i got the urge to play Skyrim again and i want to do a bow only run.

What are some must-have mods?

I used to play a lot with steam cannons, made a steam-powered supersonic car and a scramjet one that could go Mach 3, but I can't do that anymore since they removed the scramjet glitch, nerfed steam power and fixed its troll physics

I don't have Eiries link, but you can get his ENB from here:

If you want to do what I did, then just rip out his enbeffectprepass.fx files from the enbseries folder, install Vivide Weathers with the associated ENB, copy the enbeffectprepass.fx files into the enbseries folder for that enb.

Pull the SweetFX folder, along with the d3d9_SFX.dll file from Eiries ENB along with the three text files that have the word SweetFX in them and stick those in your skyrim folder.

In your enblocal.ini file change the proxy to:
ProxyLibrary=d3d9_sfx.dll

When you run skyrim, disable the ENB and save it. That way you'll always default to just sweetfx, he has pretty good sweetfx settings, I use to use the sweetfx from bleak, but his is better I think. Now when you want the enb just press SHIFT+F12, if you want to disable sweetfx for whatever reason, press scrolllock. Sweetfx only chews up a few frames, so it's great considering.

Combined with the enb it looks pretty nice imo. And without it, it still looks pretty good and very playable.

Even on my toaster, I think it takes pretty good pics, even using the nasty textures that I'm limited with.

-The information part says I have everything 'barely running' I think this is a joke and I did it right?
-XPMSE has no problems with weapon style menu showing up

Since I use a toaster, I find it great. Mostly I love the audio and the weather though. The storms sound great, (I imagine it's much like True Storms, never used that though), but it has lots of different weather scenarios and it just gives a very good look for the game imo. I can only imagine what it looks like on a good computer with much better textures (I mostly limit myself to 1k textures).

Like I said, I don't have many pictures, so I'm just coc'ing around and snapping some. I'm not good at taking pics, so you'll have to take them with a grain of salt and a creative eye imagining that the textures are 2-4k... ;-P

I've played vanilla tons (mostly on xbox), only been playing on pc for a little while now, and I never saw it do this (I've probably played more Skyrim that most people here, just on the xbox to be honest, that's not even including my time on PC, which is in the thousands already). Maybe it did something similar that I never really noticed, but when I installed Vivid Weathers, it was an immediately obvious feature, it was actually the first thing I noticed, and it does it a lot.

Mods like Vivid Weathers mostly just modifies the vanilla features though, so it changed the textures and made it more common or something I guess, either way, I like it.

Since you're using TKRE's prepass.fx you can do the same sort of thing if you ever feel like it. Via the in game GUI's enbeffectprepass.fx window, just raise the Bokeh Brightness, Radius and Quality and you'll see what I mean.

The movement isn't too awful right now, but it's a little lumpy.

What should it be weighted to? Should I have it weighted to any of the spine bones? Or should I get rid of all of them and just use should and skirt bones?

I'd like to make it HDT, but apparently that requires adding extra bones and shit, and it sounds like a colossal pain in the dick hole.
