If you don't want to bother with IV potential(and right now, the way combat is handled, I wouldn't)....it's better to evolve a higher powered mon and then power it up.

Keep an eye on its moveset. Don't bother powering the mon up if you evolve it and it has trash moves.

Pokemon in the wild will not spawn at a level higher than 30.

You can manually power them up to level 40 with stardust and candy.

So while the game caps you at 40, you can actually start collecting the pokemon you'll be using for end-game at level 30.

Technically you could be doing this earlier, but it would very often involve way too much stardust and candy to be worth your while.

A 100% IV Vape with perfect moves IS worth bringing to 40 even if it starts at level 2.

IV stays the same.
The problem is that you don't know what moves it will end up with after it evolves.
Move set determines whether the poke is worth anything at all. From there, between two pokemon with ideal moves the higher % should have higher CP. At maximum trainer level and with the pokemon fully upgraded, the disparity between a 0% and a 100% can be as much as 600CP but only in the most extreme cases such as Dragonite ect.

guys the bot doesnt work for my level 21 account.

I run it and it says "level 12 account", and it lists the top cp pokemon, and the only pokemon in the list are pokemon that the bot caught.

It's like the bot uses a different account inside my account, what's causing this? I log into my account and there is no exp gain or something.

On the other hand, my level 1 account I did succesfully level up to level 9 in 1.5 hours.
