Best Method for farming Dash Extract would be to get 8-12 (Preferably 12 because of enthusiasm recharge) Support Palicos, do every Meownster Hunter Gypceros you can do, land all Support Palicos on it and you'll get like 2-6 Dash Juices per Meownster Hunter expedition. It still might not be enough to keep up with how much you have to use considering if you get unlucky you won't get a Gypceros Meownster Hunter quest for 10+ cycles but yeah.

the quest is HR6 but if you're HR4 you can join the rooms. So far all the rooms I've joined only one guy had the quest so once he left we all just stood around with our thumbs in our asses

It massively speeds up the process instead of having to jog all the way back to base. The entire point of this method is to do it with 4 people and be able to complete the quest in a minute tops.

There is only one way to do it you dingus. 12 coal is the absolute hard cap for the rewards box (assuming you put it in one by one). As even Gaijinhunter explains in the revised video, putting in 40+ gives no more rewards than 12.

Explorer wastes time, since the secret spot only has blue rocks in it which don't give coal. Spawning in a random location has a ~90% chance of spawning in a room that has red rocks or next to a room that has red rocks.

Eating for explorer is alright if you're doing this solo though, as it puts you in a good route for red rocks.
