Can someone explain why you would "dodge" a potentially poor match if all it affects is your winrate, which doesn't affect anything?

Like, you get the same xp/bonuses win or lose so I would assume a game where you lose easily is almost a blessing since it's just the game being over with faster. Unless you're doing ranked I don't see why it would matter.

My experience is that hunter is actually fairly balanced at the moment, at least around level 30. I'm pretty close to 50% winrate on all the hunters I have a decent number of games in.

Monster feels fairly balanced too.
I win 80+% of my games as Wraith because she's fun and I've practiced her a lot, but lose 70% of my EKraken games because I keep making bad decisions and trying to play him wrong.

I'm at 8/6 with Slim, from leveling him up to unlock the silver reload perk while he was free.
He's pretty shit, but so are the majority of monster players.
Know how to dodge/roach, don't pick shit hunters into other shit hunters(I've never won a Slim+Bucket game), and don't do shit like solo doming the monster a mile from the rest of your team that will straight up lose the game, and unless the monster is better than average or you get a complete retard it will still usually be winnable.

Goliaths a combo character, open with a traversal heavy attack, charge to cc them, leap to where the charge is going to land them, auto attack(the timing is tight, could be light or heavy), flame breath them as they jetpack away from you, traversal heavy attack into rock or charge is just an example. Missing abilities is death(less for moliath than it is goliath)
If they just hover in their air above you then toast them while they burn their jetpack bar and then nail them with a rock.

Leap smash is the ability that takes priority points, followed by charge or flame breath depending on whether your fighting droppables or not(harpoons/sunnydrone/turrets/etc with the extra point going to flamebreath if you are)

As for perks, goliath and moliath are one of the few monsters that adore poison claws because silver and gold poison adds up to 200 damage over three seconds, which coincidentally is the cooldown on your heavy attack and your heavy attack is very much part of your combo

With red feed speed of course because until sneaking because viable feed speed is life but you could make do with brawler i guess

Monsters have a heavy and light attack. Goliaths is a two hand overhead swing whereas his light attacks are just casual swipes.

All the developers balance things the unfun way. Instead of buffing weak characters they would rather nerf strong characters. This is the case in most multiplayer based things. If in a game like LoL or Dota you have more than 80 different pieces to balance I can understand it, but when the cast in Evovle is so relatively small I really wanted them to balance upwards instead of downwards

I can't count how many times I've seen people argue back and forth about him, I'm sick of arguing it and reading it. Whereas if you played Hank, you can prevent downs, keep the dome up longer, not get strikes and still do the same total damage over the duration of the fight.

The way the game works now, its never worth it to trade survivability for damage. Even if the monster hits stage 3, fights are still in the hunters favor and you just set up in a good spot in sight of the relay and continue to be unkillable there.

You can just tunnel vision any hunter without repercussion so long as there's no Sunny or Hank on the team. If there is a Hank you can just tunnel vision him, because he can't shield himself. You babysit them while downed and eat their corpse afterwards and your team is down a man with no way for Lazarus to do anything about it.

While you guys keep on engaging and fighting the monster and wear down it's max health, the team's max health is going to be kept up high. Yes perks are general. Monsters have a different set however.

Lennox is an assault which means you want damage. Lennox more than any other assault loves damage because her gauntlet has huge base damage. Thankfully youll get gold damage just for playing her.

As for playing lennox shes just as fast the other hunters, bit faster even with her thunder strike. Just manage your jetpack well and save your thunder strike for when you have height.

Protip, always thunderstrike the person the monsters focusing so you nail the fuck. This is usually the medic
