Yeah, 7 years ago I imported P4 mostly just to get into the gameplay, knowing next to no nip and with absolutely nothing to help me but a translated list of persona skills. Having put in a fuckload of hours into P3 that aspect was no problem. I only ever hit road blocks when I had to talk to NPCs to open new dungeons.

While obviously being more difficult, honestly the story wasn't that hard to grasp. When referencing some brief summaries as I went along it turned out that P4 was dirt simple enough to understand through voice tone, a couple of key words and what was happening on screen, and I knew Adachi was the killer pretty much right away.
