this game favors attacker to such a degree that I'm beginning to believe blizzard is outright lying when they say it's closer to 50/50. Maybe on rank 20 it's even, but on 70+ it's almost impossible to lose as attacking, especially on payload maps. Healing from payload gotta go, the payload need to move faster backwards if none of them are at it, that's two changes that needs to get in for season 2.

It can work well imo but 1) its kind of boring 2)the "sniper healing" doesn't seem to be picked up by people. People seem to just to pistol shoot health darts into teammates for the whole round. I hope she gets some sort of rework for mid-range combat and/or healing.

For me those were 54-56, this felt like hell and I was stuck there good week going back and forth from 54 to 56 never breaking to 57, then once I did it was one victory wave riding to 60+ until I hit the 62-64 and got stuck there, and now broke that and easily hit 69 yesterday, hopefully 70 today and then I can call quits in comp

I don't get how some people can drop to sub 40 rank unless you continued playing on tilt after losing a few.

I went 6 - 4 in placement and ended up rank 51. My experience with mobas tells me that I have to take a break from rank after 2 losses max. So far I've slowly climbed to 56 without much hitches.

I like to single one guy out and then just be relentlessly cancerous toward them. Shit like solo ulting them and then typing LOL in chat will piss people off every single time. It works even better once they start to lose their cool because it becomes easier and easier to kill them the more pissed off they get. Bastion right click: Lay a set of rails for him to grip to. He can slide along them as his mobility option to help him reposition when he comes under fire. It's mobility but limited and predictable.

And let it be applied to various surfaces, so he can mount on walls and etc.

He is still restricted to a set area but now he can at least defend himself in some manner.

I went fucking 1-9 in placements due to most retarded teams ever, but steadily climbed to near 70 now. If i lose more than 2 games in a row I just take break, play some quick play just to fool around or do something else, then continue later or next day and never had major drops in rank.

I fully believe you just tilt if you are on losing streak and it's not "forced 50" making you lose.

Also the time of the day you play at affects ranked a lot from my experience. I know it's summer so "after school hours" don't really count, but avoid 2 PM to 7 PM because that is when the worst and most casual people play.

Faster rockets would be better for her than more splash. Like Tf2's Direct Hit, which had almost no splash damage (radius and actual damage) but way faster projectile speed and direct hits did a lot of damage. That describes Pharah pretty well minus the speed. Tf2 Soldier had huge splash damage because his projectiles were pretty slow and had fall off so he needed to get much closer and risk himself while also making sure he didn't blow himself up with his own splash. Which is a way different playstle than Pharah's constant aerial ambush. She can peek fire from places that would never work with Tf2's Soldier because his rockets would be even easier to dodge and they'd do piss poor damage from a distance.

I don't understand why not Blizz just make it so that we start from rank 1 and climb up? It's literally what most other games do.
Instead they base us with an incredibly dynamic and random skill rating.

It makes much more sense when everyone starts at rank 1.
