I also copied the GER - Germany file, pasted it into the mod folder's history/country and then changed Portrait_Germany_Gerd_von_Rundstedt.dds to Portrait_KI_Ezekiel_Maier.dds

The Ottoman Empire has been in one series of civil wars after another for well over a decade now, well into the second one. The Iraq vilayet governor had already split from the Empire. Likewise, the Venetian citystate, long dominant in the Mediterranean, moved in, and brought the rebelling Greeks and their leader, Zimices, under their wing some years ago. No one knows what Venice plans to do with it's portions of Greece, but we have to be wary - doubly so, since one of Aragon's primary rivals in the Mediterranean is Venice, along with the various Italian states trying to resist their encroachment from Sicily.

Fortunately we are not alone! Not only is Pasha of Egypt resuming his war against the Sultan after the bitter truce, but the Albanian Beys have had enough, and are also revolting. In the East, the Kurd rebellion is well underway, and they tell us their new country may be declared any day now. The governor of Syria vilayet, imitating his fellow governor of Iraq, has also declared rebellion. We hear word that Illyria may enter the war anyday now as well, and Hungary too. And to top it all off, the Janissaries are also rebelling.

There has never been a better time!
