It's even more fucked than that; the first game where I got less XP I also had 27 base defence points (he drove into my cap for some reason). There's no other difference between the two matches, all damage was done at close range, both matches I damaged the OIs ammo rack, and I got exactly the same number of credits. My mind is blown is there's even RNG in the XP calculations.

Lorraine 40t or AMX 30 1er? I am aware the 40t will be replaced soon on PC (or has it already?), but rest assured whatever PC gets will take decades to make it onto the consoles (we still have the wafflefuck e100, goddamn I hate that thing)

So, with the knowledge that PC things take forever to get on console (we still don't have anime heavies or czechs), should I get the Lorraine and hope it gets replaced by something amazing later on when I'm 80 years old and then get the lorraine as a tier 8 premium most likely (like what happened with the awfulpanzer; people got the SPIC and got a premium awfulpanzer) AND whatever tank replaces to lorraine, or should I just get the 30 1er because I like how that style of medium plays and I hear it's a kickass tank

I know its crazy, but I've always wondered if this kind of concept could be viable. I feel however like it would be entirely reliant the local terrain.

Perhaps it could have been useful with a turret using better depression, and could have been useful and practical during the 1930s-50s even. Maybe using a lighter turret though. Recoilless rifle or something, or at least make it open topped to increase visibility and decrease weight, important if you're going to be hoisting the fucking thing.

Now in a modern day context, it wouldn't be insane to make a light 'cherry picker' type arm and put an ATGM and guidance system on it. It looks silly in practice, I've seen some German armored vehicles that used this concept (pictures of them, really) but I think it could definitely be deployed successfully in conventional warfare.

You want to be all dynamic and accurate and have a gun that's more accurate than Soviet Heavy go Hamburger Heavies.

You have a turret that isn't dog shit, and are still fairly manueverable.

Your gun is pretty good as a Brit Bong Heavy, but you are hideously slow and have glaring weak points. Still, you can work around that.

(Although I almost think the armored British TD's are better at being heavies than the actual british Heavies are. Those guns are vicious, and you can lead attacks because it's hard to hurt you enough to make the exchange worth it.)

The T-10 turret did improve it a lot but the increased pike armour for a worse lower plate and no spaced sides is just pretty crummy vs the IS 3. The 122mm is also pretty crappy with its blunderbuss accuracy.

Any tips or tricks for getting the most out if it as I grind for the top gun? Apart from going hull down obviously.
