Not really having any fun playing Mercy now, you still have no defense against getting rushed down by a Tracer or Genji and now you can't even dare peek because McCree will 2tap you from any range. It's also extremely difficult to get your ult up on defense before the attackers have their ults available so the first point on most maps is a free win for the attackers in many situations.

If this nerf is going to stay then Mercy needs a buff somewhere else, more healing, a defensive ability, more health, something that makes her not a free kill.

I'm getting gold eliminations increasingly often as passive tanks or support. I think this happens when you've hit the skill ceiling for your circumstances. Even the best Mercy player in the world can only carry a team so far, for example.

I went 15:3 with Mercy once in a game, mainly solo killing Tracers, Genjis and Reapers that kept trying to jump me. Maybe that's a sign that I should start putting more hours into attack?

Because only retards haven't realized that mobility dominates this game. All of the Defense and Builder heroes are hot garbage. Symmetra is only good on the first point in higher ranking and only for her teleporter. Most Symmetras fail to get their teleporter up in time and if your team is able to hold that long on defense when attackers have so much advantage then you probably would have stomped the yard either way.

What they could do is make health packs more useful for tanks. Like having them scale based on your hero's base health. Small health packs give 75 health at the moment, which is shit fuck all to a Winston or D.Va. They could make it heal 2.5x to Winston (188hp) since his he has 2.5x as many hp as 200 hp heroes.

What this would do is expand support possibilities. Right now, a support hero's entire worth is how well they can heal.

What's the consensus on Ana? I feel like her healing is incredibly sub par even when you're landing all of her shots. She makes for a much better off-healer than Zenyatta, though. A lot of people seem to think she's the absolute worst hero right now, I think she's not that bad of a healer considering and her sleep/ult are game changing. I keep defaulting to other healers because it's just not fun when everyone is spazzing out at me even though I'm performing great in most games.

People target the healer for a reason, if your sitting on point instead of roaming for health packs when your healer is dead I hope you calculated the risk of being oneshotted by any fucker compared to having one less asshole on point.
If a tank could go to small medpac locations and heal for 1/3 of their health it'd be fucking stupid since grabbing one midfight would basically guarantee you a 1v1 whereas a small medpac means fuck all when you're trying to solo a dps hero.
This is just one of the many vulnerabilities of a team game, you're not going to be able to do EVERYTHING yourself unless somehow everyone else in your game is a monkey.

Roadhog has one of the biggest hitboxes with no way to soak damage. Literally every other tank has some way of stopping damage, Roadhog just facetanks it and winds up melting if focused by more than one person.

Yes, and this is not a problem. This is how it works in other 1v1s. Don't let them get the health pack. Item spawn control is a cornerstone of area shooter FPS.

"Hate" is a strong word, but I rather dislike Reinhardt's design. Something about his helmet, his "not a space marine" shoulders, and general silhouette is unpleasing to me, which is bad for me because I rather find him rewarding and useful to play.

First skin I bought, because I find his helmetless versions at least a bit more palatable.

I think otherwise, that it has some coherence in its visuals. Everything is rather colorful, vaguely pixar-esque, some busy stuff here and there, but at least silhouettes are viably distinguished, maps have nice vertical elements and feel dynamic for all players (except maybe one of the Illios maps being bad for snipers).

That's the only skill ceiling element to the character as well.

Sometimes, I wonder if there is a new method of rankscumming, where people instalock Ana and use it to help the enemy team.
The ana on our team can't hit a stationary target 90% of the time, so the other five players have to work twice as hard to cover it up.

I'm not complaining about my team, as we manage to win even without a player, but it's just a thought about the people who instalock Ana and can't aim for shit on rank 70+.
