Why is it at any point of the day I play practice range and virtually every time I do, I have 270ms ping aka probably connecting to American servers?

It's a lot of little things that accumulated into massive ball of irritation.

My ISP is magnificiently shit, dealing with the provinicial/city is impossibly difficult because nobody speaks English, so you can't explain them anything. Basically you just get forms thrown at you and nobody can explain anything. My apartment got optical fiber and it is the most retarded contraption I have ever seen. They literally cabled it so that the actual fibers come into the apartment into a big ugly box in the middle of the wall instead of installing neat RJ-45 plugs on the walls and putting the optic fibers in a networking room in the basement. My ISP and many others send bills that do not tell you wtf you are paying for. I've received the regular 300 SEK bills for the internet and then one month they send me a 1000 SEK bill and they all just say "broadband" on them without explicitly detailing wtf the extra charge is for. Also, they cut off my internet without notice because I missed a payment in January, but had paid every other bill since without delay.

Also, every store or office of small/medium size closes for an hour every day because of lunch because apparently making differing schedules for lunch times for the employees to keep the places running is a fucking insurmountably difficult challenge for the Swedes.

Also, bars close very early, you only get 3,5% beer from grocery stores, The Labour Unions are cunts, even though you'd think you wouldn't have problems with them since they presumably are on your side at the work place, but they area actually a fucking massive pain in the ass and cause retarded work place poltiics over banalities that are non-issues.

Also, no saunas in apartment buildings shared or in the apartments. In Finland, my fucking one room flat had a sauna.

Oh yeah, and the worst thing is that you have to give your landlord a notice of you leaving the apartment three fucking months before you leave.

So I just hit Skill Rating 70 as a soloqueue, Genji-only player.

This puts me in the top 1% of players, and I'm feeling pretty confident in my Genji play now.

Picking up Lucio and Zarya would be pretty good if you intend to continue soloqueueing. That way you can play several roles without any hassle.


Lucio is especially good in soloqueue since he has that sweet AoE heal and is less dependant on survival than Mercy. Once you get his wall ride spam down you'll be contesting points for years.


But i'm not the wisest player here since i've only been rank 61 as my highest. Maybe someone else can give some better insight.

im far from the best but i do my best and i dont quit and i did my placement matches on day 1 running into pre made groups straight away and this season has been a train wreck , im currently ranked competetive 18 , my ranking after placement matches was 32 , i believe a fair ranking for me would at the min be 35-40 like i said im far from the best , but ive been in so many games where people just quit if the first point gets taken and we r defending or if things seem to be going badly even tho they can be turned round someone quits , then someone else quits knowing they wont get any penalty other than a loss and so it continues , so with all the bugs there was and the messed up system season one should realy be a beta test season and hopefully start afresh with season 2 , wipe everyonescurrent stats and start afresh .

You get zero feedback from healing besides HP bars that fill up at the speed of paint drying, your speed boost is situational, your damage and projectile speed is slow, Amp It Up is a pulse check to make sure you haven't fallen into a narcoleptic coma, almost everything about him is just dull. Environmental kills, experimenting with wall riding and denying Ults are my only source of entertainment when playing Lucio.

Mercy is much more active for me, I've no idea what the "corner hiders" are smoking. Dashing from injured ally to ally, using them as slingshots to avoid and escape danger, turning entire battles around with resurrects, getting a satisfying ding and a red skull when a boosted ally kills people, trashing shitty Tracers with well placed headshots.

Your map knowledge from Genji will come in handy to find good ledge spots/paths for Lucio wall rides and he's just as mobile as a Genji when you get the hang of it (although genjis vertical mobility is much quicker and easier)
Along with that playing a healer will be useful in literally any situation.

Zenyatta is also another good one to learn. I learned Genji and zen at the same time to get the hang of the projectiles. If you're good at landing genjis stars you'll like Zen
