Honestly if you don't have a friend who plays wow (irl or internet) you're best off joining a "social" guild. High pops aren't always the way to go since shitholes like Mal'ganis is high pop but all the guilds are horrible raiding guilds. If you're really desperate you could join my raiding guild with me. I have that one on him, the yellow one on my warlock and the purple one on my pally.

I got the purple one back in BC though some guy was selling the code for the tabard and the pet biscuits in trade for 400g. Paid 240k for the black one just to make some pleb not win it since he was bragging he had 400k on that character and about 70k for the yellow one.
