When you get to the mining station, gear up then cross the glass bridge to the west end of the mining station. Exit through that door. Follow the road west to the far western edge of the asteroid. You'll find a small mining outpost. Go Northwest into that astreroid field and cherry pick. You can take an extinguisher and spray it or throw things to get back if you run into space. Keep magboots on and you wont slip. Ores are generally a good bet to throw. Alt-click or ctrl-clicknig removes your pda pen in a pinch. And keep in mind if you can throw perpendicularly to something you can just jump back to that rock to retrieve it so bounce your throws off shit to get back when you can unless you slipped on the outermost edge of the field.

RnD only needs 5 of each ASAP. then you can use your super powered diamond drill to just bring whatever you get, don't forget to drill the floor for glass, every 20 minutes max. Bringing 2598289528958925892895892 minerals 3 minutes before the shuttle gets here means fucking nothing. You hear me? NOTHING. So bring early, bring often.
