Is this monster programmed to run right up to a trap and then stop and fly over it? He has done this 3 times in one hunt.
The only time I have ever landed a Rathalos in a trap is when I let it sleep.

Only Ammo boost, it get's better with artII so you can actually fire more than 8 shots. With II you can empty 80% of a siege mode before it recharges.
I guess I should at least try the others, nova seems useless, and the same with the rain for adept.

Alright, so I've never touched SnS because it never looked like my kind of weapon until these buffs gave it so many toys to play with. Striker, Oils, etc.

That said, for solo hunting, which of these is likely to be better? I was gonna farm some LR Narga for a bit because I like the armor and wanted to get some SnS practice in at the same time.

How good is Insect Glaive late game? I just finished dropping it for Aerial GS and I don't regret a damn thing. Worrying about leveling the stupid bug separately was just too much shit to do.

Are there any real mobility differences or is it essentially the same experience with more RoF and less damage on a LBG?

Should I even bother doing anything but charged hits if I'm rolling Striker hammer? The built-in focus makes the charge so fast that it takes just as long to do a normal pound as it does to rev up a slam, and you aren't stuck in place while you charge either.

The only time I can see actually using the normal pound is chaining them on a downed monster's head, if that even does more KO/damage than just using more charged slams. How much did motion values change in Gen?

If I have a LS with 100 raw and 25 poison and a LS with 130 raw and 15 water, which would be the better choice? I'm not entirely sure how big of a gap there is in 30 damage or how effective Poison is in general.
