Buying packs with money feels like a bit of a scam honestly, you get so little for paying so much. They should be half their price.

I watched him play 2 games of arena last night for the first time.

Depends. If you're playing against Zoo or aggro, I wouldn't play it unless I have no other card to play.
If you're playing against control, you will get a better card most of the times. Midrage is somewhere in the middle and you have to decide.

I like it even if it backfires sometimes. I run just one for that reason. 2 would be too much.
When you summon the enemy's Deathwing turn 3 with coin, you start loving the card even when it fucks you up.

J4ckiechan builds innovative fun decks that are often pretty viable (First proper Yogg Druid versions were made by him and used Wisps of the old Gods).

Also like Senfglas, who absolutely detests Aggro decks like Shaman or Draggro and plays more controlish decks. Made the Yogg Druid list that was popular at the end of last month and played by like a dozen guys to top 100. And he doesn't go full tryhard since "only the last day of ladder matters anyways", so mostly plays tier 2-3 decks in legend, like N'Zoth Murloc Paladin. Also comes with open playlists (you know what that means) sometimes and has a pretty dank and relaxed maymay chat.

The winrate started dropping past 15. Before that I don't think I've lost more than 3 games.
Too bored to do the match but I made that deck at rank 22 or 23 at the start of the month and used it only for that.

N'Zoth Priest is actually better than that deck but I'm missing Sylvanas, 2 Corrupt Healbot and the Priestess that turns heals into damage so i can't play that one. But I tested it out on my friends account and it works perfectly fine in the current meta. Well, it was a short test so I might have been lucky for those few games but it's a damn satisfying deck.

Also EU here. People ignore it but there is a slight difference between EU and US meta. US has more aggro from what I can see.

Question for you guys, so I've been playing this game completely f2p and recruited 5 guys for the free packs and opened pic related. My buddy says I should never ever dust this. Considering the fact that I'm completely f2p, would it be a good idea in your opinion to dust this? Is there other things that are more worth it? For the record, I really enjoy tempo Mage and token Druid and as for legends, i have thalnos and yogg.

You don't ever really need to buy packs though. Adventures are the only thing worth buying since the cards are always useful but it's too much to grind out the gold for it. That gold is better spent on packs and I GUESS arena if you enjoy the memes.

I've been playing since April and so far, I'm going okay. I've crafted yogg and thalnos for tempo Mage, which is fun to ladder with, I also have a golden sylvanas, which I pulled. It's all about getting lucky and playing just enough to get 1 pack a day with your quest. I've also crafted a shitload of epics and have about 750 dust right now. Don't even care if I'm a f2p shitter or not, I'm just stating what I've earned from playing about 3 months

So I've been working on C'Thun Warrior and so far this is the core that I have and I'm pretty happy with. However, there are two open slots that I keep switching between on what is optimal and I'd like some advice on what to run there.

Stuff I've already tested:

- Revenge: Great against aggro, but against control and midrange it's usually just an Execute activator.
- Second Slam: Not particularly good against anything. Basically just a worse Revenge.
- Second Beckoner of Evil: Buffing C'Thun is always good, but other than that it's very low impact.
- Spellbreaker: Good against Sylvanas, which is a big threat to C'Thun, mediocre against everything else. A lot of decks that run Sylvanas are N'Zoth decks, so really he'll only be dealing with her once, making him kinda low impact.
- Big Game Hunter: Yes, really. Ragnaros is a big threat to this deck, so I tested BGH as a way to easily get rid of it while still being able to play a tempo Execute. It's rarely a dead card too as there are lots of things that it can hit even in non-midrange matchups like Flamewreathed Faceless, Sea Giant, Yogg-Saron, etc.
- Crazed Worshipper: I just don't like this card. I feel like you can lose value on him too often compared to guaraunteed C'Thun buffers like Beckoner of Evil.
- Harrison Jones: Obviously he's fantastic against Shaman and Warrior, but he's literally dead in so many other matchups that I haven't felt a need to run him in a long time.
- Gorehowl: It's a very good weapon, but there's so much stuff in standard that has 6+ health that after the first two attacks, it's usefulness decreases exponentially.
- Baron Geddon: Locks the board up against a lot of aggro decks and can pressure control okay as well. Kinda slow though.
- Deathwing: A big board wipe is also very nice to have, but it shares C'Thun's weakness to Sylvanas.

Thoughts? Any other suggestions on stuff I may have missed?

if you're getting rushed down by aggro you can throw in ancient of wars

I'm still rather new, I beat the first expansion (except on heroic)

Have opened maybe 5 classic packs (back when they were the only pack)

And just started blackrock. I have no experience with the arena, and all of my hereos are still under 20. None of them even have all the cards for their starter deck, either.

tl;dr

Should I buy some packs? I don't want to run a cthun deck, but those grand tournament cards sound neat, and there's still a lot of cards from classic I don't have

-Most of the spells that you run to deal with a minions are in general really cheap, Soulfire and Implosion, Demonwrath, Hellfire. So you literally dick yourself over especially if you play Cho'gall
