Asking for help getting my scanner running from last thread.

Seems like reinstalling Python did...something. Now the map shows in the correct location instead of the ocean when I open the page, but no pokemon. Any help? Here's my output:

Hardly. I live right on the edge between a forest and a larger city.
When I go into the forest I can walk around for an hour and see maybe a single Weedle.
If I go into the outskirts of the city I get fucking swamped in Pokemon.

I am fairly sure they are using some map with the average density of GPS signals for it. Which fucking sucks because I'd rather run through the woods than sit down at central station. The cities already have all the Pokestops, they shouldn't also have all the mons

yeah pudgey/caterpie/weedle are high or top tier in terms of pokemon you want to encounter a lot since they're worth more XP than any other pokemon except stuff you're catching for the first time. a handful of eevees and legendaries/overpowereds is fine too but you only need a few to buff up your REAL ones that you'll need to catch exactly 1 of once you hit 20 or 25+

but if you want to level, pidgey is literally what you should focus on. Although yeah it kind of sucks to find a billion zubats or doduos etc since those cost a lot more candies to level and zubat sucks to throw balls at - i do consider myself lucky to be in a pidgey heavy area :^)

Now maybe you are blessed and live in a fantastic location, but I think many, many people live in a small city, or suburb or something and are tired of finding the same few shitmons there over and over.

All I get here 95% of the time is pidgeys, spearows, zubats, rattatas and weedles.

Last night I spoofed myself some 2 hours away into a huge coastal city and it was amazing. Pokemon every few steps. Tons of magikarp, poliwags, magnetiles, voltorbs, psyducks and squirtles. Even dratinis.

If I lived there I'd be more inclined to play legit only but fuck this sucks here.

I will say, the game does encourage you to travel. Where I live, there's nothing, but there's a town maybe 20 minutes away full of stops. Take a long bike ride or a short drive!

Would be smarter to train neither of them and wait till you are at a higher level and get Pidgeys with decent CP from the wild.
Training the 10cp one when you have a 50cp one makes no sense, since they will end at the same cap. Also it is not a final evolution so stuff like weight, size and moves don't matter either since those get randomized at every evolution.

You have to open the shop and then click on the shield. You can do so every 21 hours I believe and it will give you coins depending on how many Pokemon you have stationed in gyms at that moment.
