And i'm just sitting here on my 472nd hour, still in pre-hardmode, having a fucking blast.

I've only killed the bosses up to, and including, Golem, and only once. The fact that i have so much 1.3 content i haven't touched tingles me greatly.

Terraria works better as a building game for people who have the talent to build/will to learn to build nice things
Starbound's different, it's much more thematic in it's building, you can't really get away with combining a lot of different blocks in a building, it's built more as an adventure game than Terraria is

Just assuming that you're not a veteran, since you asked this question, if you're playing solo and you find yourself dying too much, just get warding, and work on your dodging until you barely take damage. Then you can start going full out.

Someone did like an experiment comparing lucky and menacing a while back....

For mages lucky is better in hardmode, menacing pre-hardmode.

For rangers, lucky becomes the better choice when you get access to stealth mechanics (shroomite armor), otherwise menacing will be the best.

I went down the chasm, broke an orb, and mirrored back to the bed above, and it worked fine. If you're teleporting to a Corruption/Crimson biome on the other side of your world, it probably won't work, though.

This, you most likely will have enough crates/silt/slush to get that set as soon as Hardmode kicks in. Always keep plenty of silt/slush/fossils in stock.

Weapon wise, it is easier to get the Phasesaber if you can find a Hallow Biome quickly enough to at least carry yourself through if you can't get enough Adamantite/Titanium.

I'm gonna start looking into Terraria modding, but I have 2 questions:

1.What's the feasibility of an item that summons the Travelling Merchant? I'm going to either make an item that does that or just have different ways of acquiring the merchant Cell Phone items.

2. Does anyone know if there's a limit on how many components can go into crafting an item? The second goal of my modding venture is a 'super-banner' mod, where you combine a group of enemy banners into one 'general banner' (A banner for each pillar, a banner for each invasion, a banner for each biome, etc) and then, in the end, combine them into one item banner that gives you the perks of ALL of them, but I'm unsure if that's possible, in the case that biome X or invasion Y might have too many enemies to realistic craft the general/super banner.

EoC shield is woefully inferior to post plantera Tapi, and knockback resistance on ground doesn't matter, what matters is air movement and getting sniped by lazers from wing clipper enemies.
Also two free accesory slots, that's the real strength of this armor.
The speed bonus from this armor was so good that I have to stuff my face with free potions from Cook to not get bored.

In the end I switched armor because I wanted to see how interesting Flesh Armor is, I'll switch it to Geode armor later.
