What's going on is they're trying to start a Diretide-like backlash because there are some things that the reddit community doesn't like. One of the problems they have is with casual vs quickplay. I'm personally on the side of more fine tuning for casual mode, but they really want quickplay back.

Another issue they have is with balance changes. They're currently making a server with their own balance changes to show what they have in mind. Its pretty funny watching how divided they are about the update.

RIght now the big thing is the lack of communication from the TF team, since OW does nothing but feedback response (for better or worse).

THey're so vocal, I'm almost tempted to actually emailing the tf2 team and telling them what I enjoy about the update so far.

My favorite part is when people were complaining that other players were playing to the objective due to stopwatch/playing the damn game instead of doing literally anything else.

Valve taking out stopwatch made a/d and payload matches really lame to me, and the worst part is, since they listened to the immediate outcry, they're in a lose/lose because there are very rational arguments on both sides of the stopwatch fight.

Since the Meet your Match update, TF2's recent reviews have gone from "Very Positive" to "Mostly Positive" and its overall reviews have from "Overwhelmingly Positive" to "Very Positive". I'm interested to see what the recent reviews will be once we hit the 30 day mark from the update.
