Unique is alright, its not like legendary is impossible for a free-to-play player though. Focus any meisters you craft/get from bosses and your monthly cubes from reward points on any uniques you have with less than 15% stat/att. If you get 2+lines at unique great, move on, if you tier up to legend, great, focus on getting 2 or more lines on that. Also, as >>148800058 mentioned, miracle times are a huge boon; if there's rumors we're going to get one soon, save up your reward points and use as many red/black cubes as you can grind during it.
Also, don't get discouraged if you can't get legend after dozens of cubes, I've had stuff stay at unique for months using several meisters per week, and I've gotten 3 legendaries from 5 reward point cubes during a miracle time. It's really inconsistent, you just have to take what you can get.

it's nothing like aran, except that it's very VERY mashy. His entire gimmick is mashing out your combo skill (that grows like aran's, I guess. Every job is another part of the main combo), and the non top of that you're mashing the bullet skill to fire the revolver part to add damage. So you're constantly mashing TWO keys, plus if you want to be doing optimal damage, you're gonna be timing dodges and ducks and sways, which are charge skills.

Press A then B to get C. It's really simple because there's only 2-3 good combos. Each Mir skill has an 8 second default cooldown that isn't shared with the others. This means you can use Mir skill A and then after that's done, use Mir skill B while A is still on cooldown. There's like a 1 second downtime if you're cycling between two Fusions but the hyper decreases the cooldown on Mir skills by 25%.

The basic rotation of Evan is spamming Mana Burst yourself while you cycle between two Fusion skills with Mir.

Use one of Mir's skills and then one of Evan's skills to change the properties of Mir's attack. Evan can attack while Mir is attacking, which gives us MAD DEEPS. At Warrior Grounds I usually just stick with the lightning pentagram (Thunder Flash) and the triple earthquake one (Earth Dive) which allows me to clear the map very fast.

We also have a skill called Return that cancels Mir's attack and brings him back to us, which (depending on which of the 3 skills he returned from) gives us a buff. Dragon Flash increases damage dealt to nearby monsters by 15%; Dragon Dive increases nearby party member attack speed by 1; and Dragon Breath creates a field of fire that kills the shit out of anything that steps on it for 30 seconds.

The buggy update to 154 and the release of Ellinia were the final nails in the coffin.
