Forced 50 does exist. It doesn't get any better if you win your F50 game because your player behavior rating gets factored in after each F50 won.

This shit happened to me - 7x in a row consecutive win. Never got any Peruvian but has gotten shitter in those 7 games and still managed to won.

Somehow the 8th I get 3 Peruvians and 1 shitter. It's literally unmanageable to win because 1 went NP jungle afk, the other 2 went safelane and fed (AM & AA), and the last one went mid with Invoker and somehow fucking fed against a WR. I was BH that game and WR didn't even have sentries so I tried to pressure mid and somehow Invoker can't cooperate because he's too afraid of being shackled. Lost the game.

Why are most of the heroes so fucking boring sometimes? Like the options available to some heroes is just too much compared to other heroes.

For example, lich is one of THE MOST brain dead heroes in the roster. You don't do much of anything besides ult and even then your ult is fucking RNG based. You get no major power spikes when picking up certain items.

For example, anti mage gets exceptionally stronger once that battle fury comes out. Ember Spirit grows exceptionally stronger when that boots of travel comes up or battle fury.

Thats the kind of shit I am talking about. Every hero should have that "one" item that really cranks up their cancer. For slark its shadow blade or something. For centaur its blink. Every hero should have that staple and that seem feeling.

Why do most heroes feel worthless? I understand we need simple heroes in the game but god damn, its a insult to human intelligence how simple some of these heroes are. Also, when will game devs learn that mobility > everything else. This is why anti mage and ember spirit do pretty well. Or heroes with ANY WAY of getting around faster do well in a game about positioning and getting shit done quickly.

Like I don't understand why he makes Sacrifice as good as it is (EXP wise) with memeback in the game. Getting that far ahead in EXP means that you (as a support Lich, who cannot really defend himself) means that simply killing you can give the enemy a lot of EXP. Especially when Lich is the kind of hero that can zone offlaners pretty well, but once the time comes and the offlaner or his supports rotate to kill you, and you can't really get away from ganks in Dota 2 as Lich, you have bad STR gain, low AGI gain, low mobility. You're not like an Oracle who is equally good at zoning offlaners, and can go LOL TAKE NO MAGIC DAMAGE with one spell.

When you play the game as long as i have, all you see is a bunch of variables to be exploited. The actual fun in the game comes from discovering new ways to play, Sadly, you can achieve all this within the first 3 days of a new patch. A lot of 'fun' things are simply not optimal, or not viable. Mirana arrow is pretty much a dead spell unless you have a spell to keep an enemy in place.

I get what you guys are saying. Its just frustrating because I love the game but my favorite heroes are basically really crappy and not optimal. Another example is clockwerk. He is really.. If you fall behind, you will remain behind basically. The enemies will get increase in damage and you won't be able to get the defenses needed to survive after you ult in. Another problem is just how easy it is to use his cogs against him. His own cogs sets up shit like invoker sun strikes and what not. It just feels really clunky.

Also, heroes like treant(who is one of my favorites) is total garbage besides living armor. Leech seed is a crap spell that heals like shit and isn't that drastic of a slow. His ult is okay but has some weird interactions with certain spells. You can't blink out of it but storm spirit can ball lightning out.

Also, what is even the point of him being a strength hero. You almost never buy strength items on him.

It sucks but you need to let your lanes push a bit and then put those cliffside wards that see the areas next to the lane that he'll blink into.

When he (hopefully, eventually) blinks teleports in and blinks into the trees to farm you'll see him and you gank him. You have to wait nearby though.

You guys know that 'forced 50' is how matchmaking is supposed to work, right?

I'm no Dota pro after 5000 hours of shameful gametime, but I am a Rocket League pro after 500 hours (and a year of playing SARPBC back in 2008). And my knowledge of ranked from both games can help.

Rocket League has the same shit in ranked-- the more you win, the more likely it is for the matchmaking system to rig the odds against you. If you win with the odds against you, you win BIG.

This is where Dota does ranked wrong. There is absolutely no reward for winning when the system is rigged for you to lose-- you don't get anything for streaking.

This is where Rocket League does their ranked right. I am in the top 1% of players (out of the 140k+ that play daily across all platforms). So only around 1400 players are at my skill level, which is pretty comparable to the "8K dilemma" that prodota players have in ranked (you gain 5-10 MMR for a game because you only get paired against 4K players that you shitstomp, unless the enemy team has a pro player also).

All in all, ranked is a waste of time unless you intend to be the best player in the world. Because once you get to the top, it's an endless grind for the equivalent to 5-10 MMR a game.

If Valve were to implement some sort of MMR lump-sum reward for winning streak-detected games at lower MMR's, like they do in unranked calibration, then Ranked would be fine. More good players would rise to the top, the top would have more players to play with, and MMR would balance out because of it.
