There are lots of mundane tasks like that which can bring in profit. Most of it is boring af though. Perhaps you should try doing up quests to open up more of the game and more ways to make money and earn exp easier.

Oh I'm sure there are groups of people colluding and manipulating prices but I've never subscribed to that personally. Most of the highly visible groups aren't nearly as effective as just tracking your own progress (I use a google sheet on my phone to log trades so I can see how well an item is performing for me over time) and thinking critically. Paying close attention to upcoming updates is the most profitable thing you can do by far.

Behind that just finding some preferred items to trade on a regular basis and using the companion app throughout the day is great. I usually spend ~3 minutes at the top of every hour checking in on my auctions and that's about the extent of my involvement for that entire progression from 10m to 3.4b. Makes for a nice reprieve between meetings and shit at work.

I'll also add my progress is pretty unremarkable compared to what I could have pulled off if I was better. I chickened out on dumping a lot of cash into investments for the release of invention and missed out on loadsamoney. The scythe +1 range update could have made me way more than it did as well. One Small Favour is often regarded as one of the worst quests in Runescape. This is mainly because it is such a long quest that revolves around such a simple topic.

But I think One Small Favour is one of the best quests in RuneScape.

Nowadays in Runescape we have so many teleports that nobody really walks anywhere. We have Lodestones, equipment teleports, and spell teleports. Why would you walk five-thirty minutes when you can instantly go to the same spot?

This quest requires you to walk for more than 90% of the time. It lets you explore/admire the Runescape terrain. And the only motivation for doing this is that you are doing a favor for somebody (in this case a favor for a favor, etc.).

My first time through this quest I hated it. I thought "wow this quest is so long and requires your full attention". But then on my next account to complete the quest I realized that the quest was much more. There are almost no requirements to do it, and very little items required. Also there is hardly even a use for a quest guide because everybody tells you where to go. And upon my second completion of this quest I realized I walked places where I haven't been in years.

So yeah, I'm not sure if I can change your opinion on this quest, but I hope I informed you on why I liked it.

absolutely, augment every t90 you have if you can afford good perks. especially the armor, augmented tier 90 is barely more expensive to upkeep compared to normal t90 armor.

the ideal setup is aftershock 3 and precise 5 on the weapon plus crackling 3 and biting 3 on your armor. This the best combo of perks for the greatest dps increase.

if you dont want to drop the money for biting 3 or aftershock 3, just get precise 5, crackling 3, and equilibrium 3. its much much cheaper and nearly as powerful.

impatient 3 + devoted 2 is easy to get and a great combo perk. the final slot is up to you, good choices are lucky 5 or absorbative 3 to take less damage, genocidal for slayer, and venomblood for spider or greg.
