Distant manor is a halfway checkpoint and allows you to reach dungeon without entering it, needed for Greirat/Siegward.

Water tower is a covenant bonfire, those should always be mandatory.

Church distance to first, specially with shortcut is minuscule, you only have 2 relevant encounters (triple knights, witch with second one offering backup) before reaching that thing.

spin is worthless, its only use really is for quickstepping dagger/thrall axe users
leap attack is almost guaranteed to hit if you use it as per the following
1) straight after someone charges up an R2 with their UGS
2) people spamming R1 after perseverance (usually they'll expect to get free hits in since you're up close which is why you should be able to land it)
3) any other gimmicky weapon art or spell that has a huge startup time

leap attack is pretty shit and if your opponent knows what they're doing they can easily get a backstab on you straight after, but with this shit in mind you should be able to manage something

I use 25 on my level 80 and that's more than enough for most ultras but doesn't let me use UGS WAs (they're useless anyways)
30-40 is ideal for the higher cost ultras like Yhorm's, BKGA and FUGS, and will also allow you to use the UGS WAs (though I don't know why you'd want to)

If you're starved for stats on a profaned GS build or something, you can get away with 25, but you really want 30+ for the 3 big boys

I've used the RAW ASS for PvP before and have enjoyed it, and with the added damage of a 60 fth Lightning Blade I feel like it would be good for cleaving through phantoms in gank squads (although I'd have to sacrifice some estus to pack some extra ash flasks). Also, what Weapon Level should I stick to to make sure I can actually get invasions at SL70?

Alright I finished DaS a little while ago but I missed most of the DLC
I entered Oolacile on my first playthrough but didn't progress very far (up to Artorias) before I went on to finish the main game. There are other places like Ash Lake which I didn't go to either. Is it a better idea to replay the game on NG+ or just start from scratch? I'm a bit scared of fighting bosses like Artorias with increased damage because I didn't beat them the first time around but the rest I think should be fine
