To the Kharn guy who wanted advice; I'm not sure if you're lurking but I watched your videos and found some things you can work on. I'm not a ROB player, but you have character specific and general things you can definitely improve. The general things will improve the more tournament or serious games you get to play as you become better at spacing and approaching in general by fighting challenging opponents.

ROB Specific: You're not utilizing your projectiles well. Facing zoner type characters that don't know how to zone is a very easy match-up for your opponent, especially if they have a rush down type character. You're giving free wins and chances for your opponent to mount a comeback. The most annoying aspects when facing ROBs for me are Nair, and the damn top that stuffs out even jumps. Have your top out and don't be afraid to use it often since you can get another one almost immediately. The harder part is being smart about how you use it, and that comes with practice. Are you z-dropping it to edgeguard or for mixups often and effectively enough? What about throwing it at the ground so it bounces up to hit or throw someone into it? Those are more useful setups than trying to rush to the edge and do a Dair in hopes of spiking that will usually fail thanks to ledge invincibility. After you throw the top, try to force yourself to react quickly and start doing something else, whether that be the classic lazer beam or get a better stage position. Learning how to do B-reversals in the air with Down-B or Neutral-B are another movement and mixup aspect you should try to add.

General: You abuse smash attacks waiting for people to walk into them too often. It seems like you think people are going to run up and hit you so you pick that option, but instead they simply dodge it and punish your end-lag. If you want to try and make reads like that, you need to pick safter moves, such as a short-hop Nair that also covers multiple options. You roll around too much, where you could instead at least mix it up with different kinds of dodging. A better option might be a fade back short hop where you can shoot out a top or an aerial. If it's your playstyle to use less projectiles and get up close more, you need to make better use of them the few times you use them and work on your spacing of aerials and tilts instead of doing them where you can be punished. Defintely work on your edgeguarding because even without the top helping you at the ledge you can go in deep and stop any character without Villager tier recovery if you're smart about it (Bait out airdodges then Nair, Bair, Fair or just push them far enough down and away with). You seem impatient to attack when you're not rolling away, so perhaps work on reaction rather than preemptively going in for hard reads.

Some of the setups were being used for friendlies, slowing things down. Zero's story is that the Smash TO wanted to use them but the Evo staff refused to use those setups for tournament matches and enforced friendly-only setups. Bear's version is that he tried to use them and had to go around unplugging the controllers because players wouldn't get off the setups.

I still have the Duck Hunt exp, just felt like I hit a ceiling with him. All you can do with him is just add massive amounts of damage and wait for them to slip on a hard punish kill move. It's a lot of work. Switched to Link because I feel like no one is playing him. I like his jab combos, tether grab, chucking bombs at people, grab combos, kill throw and he's got a sword. His recovery is awful though. Worse than DH's IMO.
