That's not the way it used to work. All the spiders in spider cave used to count. Not just they big ones. Not only that, but you could run around in low level zones and anything glowing red (elite) counted.

Is the pop getting a lot lower recently. I Sat in queue for Storm talon, kel voreth, and skullcano for like two and half hours while leveling an alt as a tank/DPS. I've been having similar problems with my main as a healer/DPS.

I wonder if most quit before 50, because the vet queue is just as bad as norm dungeon queue and was getting instant pops for lvl levels 2 weeks ago,

Path xp seems to be hard capped per mission.
By that I mean that you can't gain more than one whole level per activity you do regardless of the xp it awards.
That or all the endgame missions give you exactly the amount of xp required to go from 1-2, 2-3, 3-4, etc.

For me it started out fun, but once the novelty wore and I could see all of the flaws I started to hate the game more and more.

It's like the devs started each meeting with "do you know what would be annoying?"

That phrase would be followed by lets give everyone a sprint ability with an endurance resource, but if you're hit by anything while sprinting you not only lose your entire bar, but you get a snare effect put on you. I would much rather have half the resource so I could sprint for a shorter time than this bullshit system.

I absolutely love the shield system with different recharge times and sprinting with a 2.69 to get a shield again for constant 80% damage mitigation, but it's wash because the sprint system is pure AIDS.

You know what would be annoying RNG rune slots on a yellow item that take 100 service coins to redo in order to pure n class runes. Or you know what would be annoying not only do you have to farm mats for crafting, then you have pay for fibre, framworks etc, then powercores. Then you have to pay to actually pay to craft the item. The amount of double dipping plus time spent farming is unfun.

The game feels designed around being annoying and unfun rather than difficult. That is my big problem with it. I don't an easier game.

Not being to able afk even for a second because people move so fast in vets is fucking annoying. So much being timed is fucking annoying. Not hard... annoying.

People still play Wildstar? There was in ingame census in May that showed the pre-steam release TOTAL population for the whole game was roughly 1500 during peak hours.

Steam started off with only 5000 players, and only 2 months later they are struggling to break 2k (http://steamcharts.com/app/376570).

A know a lot of people who converted to steam launch to inflate the number. How inflated it is is unknown, but the game has roughly 3k active players. That is just higher than Nostalrius' PvE server a private vanilla WoW server. Hell Nosts' PvP had 11k during peak. That is just pathetic for Carbine. that they have less subs than a 10 year old version of wow which probably originally started as good good working out of a garage on a small server.

I know what you mean, I hopped back on Tera recently on a whim to see what was new and after I finally remembered where my jump button was I had this kneejerk "wait wut" moment when I popped off the ground in a momentum-locked simon's quest style arc.
I can't even begin to imagine trying to do the first boss of vet protocademy with jumps like that.

Honestly they just need to be given extra leeway on rolls if their rotation is going to be focused on it.
Like, it's fine to do it but it's made the acrobat rune an absolute necessity for them and they still need a little more.
Make the AMP that turns rolling into a resource providing move also give the engi an extra roll.
Stack it with the rune for four and you should never be completely out.

You can make it more interesting depending on the build. But keep in mind a lot of the classes play a lot differently at low level.
