as far as I am concerned, this is probably the best time to play EVE/get back to it.

if your characters are 5.5 mil SP+ (you might want more) you can buy extractors and sell their SP and pay for your other accounts/themselves.

really depends on what you look for in the game. imo you need a good group/community to 'feel' EVE and be engaged enough to log and actually play.

generally you'll be exploring in quiet space, you want to see everything that goes on. I generally scan at max range, and then if I'm sure people are trying to kill me I might swap to 1 au scan to see them warping in, or maybe just watch overview and be ready to warp/cloak

The ship renaming is bullshit. Is it that hard to make it so once the ship is assembled it must keep a name until assembled again?

When flying in wormholes or nullsec and having to rename your ship constantly is just a tedious bullshit meta mechanic.

Or at least change the way D-scan works, why would you even see the ships name when scanning? Instead, give any ship you meet a unique ID kind of you get with anomalies, ID changes if ship undocks or changes system.

This is just having-to-buy-fresh-clones-every-time-you-die level of tedium, fuck CCP, get it together, you ALREADY have unique tags in the code for all ships, can't be that hard to implement this.

So after a hiatus of about a year, I'm crawling back to this shit game, only because CCP gave me a buy one month get one month, and I see that there's a new launcher, but it's giving me a FUCK ton of problems. When I try launching it, a bunch of certificate errors pop up, one after another, and if I cancel it, the launcher is broken and incomplete. Now if I ignore these errors, the launcher is fixed and clean, but now it won't download anything. Anybody have any similar experiences or advice to send my way, fucking dope.

no. if you increase your max velocity you accelerate quicker, but relative to your max velocity you accelerate the same. it takes the same time to get into warp

you want agility mods, and if you want to waste money on implants like snakes, you want nomads to get into warp faster. or you could use ascendancies for faster warp speed

I'd really recommend not flying a snaked wreathe in nullsec. you're reducing your chances of dying very slightly, but massively increasing the value of your loss

don't bring snake implants to null, bubbles are your biggest nightmare and its likely you'll lose them because a bubble disables your warp.

Ideally you can do the MWD-Cloak trick to get away more readily. Its where you break your gate cloak, align to the next gate, quickly cloak then quickly activate your MWD. The Cloak's speed penalty doesn't kick in until you're fully cloaked so you get this massive speed burst while being untouchable. When you're fully aligned and out of a bubble, break your cloak and quickly hit warp.

Takes a little dexterity but its an extremely useful trick. Either that or bring a Micro jump drive

Only stealth bombers can lock you instantly after decloaking. Most ships need to suffer the decloak penalty + scan res, giving you time to fuck off.
If it's a stealth bomber just buy an astero or skill into T3 cruisers so you can just turn around and shank them with drones through their paper tank.

If these aren't an option just stick to null and only run sites in systems with 0 locals.
