I just finished grinding agility from 51 to 70 and it really isn't all that bad. I'm usually happy when I get down to 50 laps because ever level up will tell you, you have to do 150 laps or so.
I also alch whilst listening to music to keep myself busy.

If you are starting an Ultimate or Ironman and just stopped playing a main today or even yesterday, you might want to consider taking a break from the game for at least 3 days. Your main has access to a large amount of the game and I have seen people start and stop playing an Ultimate/Ironman account in less than a week due to frustration of being so limited. I am not even talking about limitations on buying, selling, trading and even banking. I am talking about having to walk a lot, not being able to go where they want because a quest isn't complete and to complete it you have to do 3 other quests. I really recommend giving up the game in its entirety for a week before starting an account of this nature. If you do decide to not heed my warning I hope your experience makes the transition easier for you. I truly love the community of Ultimates and almost all of the Ironmans. You are choosing to surround yourself with a great bunch of people and I hope you strive to make the community an even better place to be.

I Loved running my arthritic legs off all over the members worlds looking for those stars for hours at a time, and watching and helping lower level players grow through the game the way others in the clan had helped me with advice and leftover construction stuff to help me grow. The best quick ways to run around the world quest tips and advice or help, many players willing to be buddies for quests that need them, myself included for those coming into the game after me, Plus Those stars got me working my construction up so I could build my own scope room and build the poh up for the better types of scope to search for the stars.

The only factor that matters when deciding if the teleports are worth it or not is how much time it saves you.
Obviously if you don't have quest cape/fairy ring method then you would choose whatever alternative you have available and see how much time the teleport would save you.
All that matters is time saved and how much you value your time. That's it. It's not that complicated.
If you spend 40k gp to save 40 seconds you're saying your time is worth more than that (as in 40k gp/40 seconds, do some basic fucking algebra and it's 3.6m/hour). If you're doing Zulrah for money then your time is not worth that much, you are not making 40k gp every 40 seconds to pay for those teleports. The only logical reason to use the teleports is if you're going for pet/mutagen/high kill count, because money is not important to you.

Try to make some money through low req money makers like saltpetre to fund 44 rc (not a lot of money).
