Tank generally has it the worst when it comes to commendations. Support will usually get a card or two, even on a shit match, but Tanks are lucky if they get anything (unless they're Zarya or Roadhog).

I admit that it'd be hard to code, but we need a card for "number of times enemy was forced to leave their defenses behind because X showed up". We also need cards less dedicated to straight killing. And PotGs less dedicated to straight damage/killing. I'm sick of the same 3/4 PotGs I see every damn match.

Zarya is easily my favorite hero just because she's a great combo of teamplay and sikk MLG kills but her cards always seem to be "X barriers projected" which means absolutely jack shit. I played her for 40 hours or so trying to git gut. I am dogshit at FPS games so I needed to learn to aim. Since comp came out I stopped playing her and concentrated on meta characters that dont require good aim such as Zarya, Rein and Mercy. Went back to her 3 or 4 days ago and I was actually much much better than ever before getting a bunch of headshots, actually forcing Pharah to swap, and getting some compliments from the enemy team. I think the key is not to go straight to her but get some general gameplay skill before jumping to trying to snipe.

How do you guys adapt to the team comp? Just play the hero you're most comfortable with or set the team comp as absolute priority?
I always end up play Lucio for the team but feel like I can't really get shit done when the team struggles to score kills or damage in general.

You NEED a healer and even if you have one having the entire enemy team revived at full health while you're battered is utter bullshit. Her damage buffs I can deal with but her ult is just fucking OP in every sense of the term.

Overtime is also a bullshit mechanic and I'm tired of it. I just saw 3 teammates stand on the payload ring on hollywood while I was heading back up to it but nope the meter went right down to zero even when we were 1m away from winning.

This game just has too much bullshit, it makes MW2 and MW3 look balanced

Mercy's only reason to exist is her ult, her healing is extremely weak, she has no way to defend herself because lol zero damage so you spend 99% of your time farming ults while hiding until you can res to get a double push.

Flying around with shift? Only for the res, dont do it in combat or you just get one shot by a reaper, roadhog or phara. Her damage boost is a fucking joke and already nerfed back down to 30%.

Lucio is superior in every way in actual gameplay except he cant ressurect for a double push.

She is not in a good spot right now so I would advise against picking her in competitive unless you believe you are good enough to annihilate the enemy team. Most decent players will send a flanker or a Harambe for you really quickly. As for Hanzo - you need to be quick and accurate, if you give him time you will lose. Attacking him with a hookshot is a good idea since coming from an unexpected angle often catches hanzos offguard.

And Mercy's age is such a non-factor it shouldn't be brought up in any argument when it comes to who you ship her with (unless you're one of those types who believes she became a doctor, invented nanobots and then became head surgeon at a top hospital all before the age of 18 just so you can justify her fucking Pharah instead of just saying "who cares" like any normal person).

Pharmercy shippers need to tone it down because if you want to argue there's no proof of Mercy/Torbjorn you have to admit there's no proof of Pharmercy. They have no dialogue, they have yet to interact in any way outside the game (and yeah the pictures and building Ana's rifle doesn't automatically mean romance, but it DOES mean they have a relationship of some kind, enough that Blizzard felt like putting emphasis on it three times). I don't really care who or what becomes canon (Torbjorn/Mercy would be pretty dumb) but shippers as always are being obnoxious about it.

Hey I've got a ranked question for you guys

So I know the top 500 players get the spray at the end of the season. Is there any sort of indicator in game when you get within the top 500 though? Currently I'm at 66 on console [\spoiler] and that's got me hovering around the top 1k. Obviously if I were to get in the range for the spray I would sit on it for a bit. I know master overwatch has the rankings but I don't want to have to log out and update every time I rank up, and I'm not sure if that's an official source anyways
