Well i achieved what i set out to do at the start of the event, so that's really nice.

It's just a bit of a shame that i don't have the time to get Doc Oc anymore. All this because i missed the chance to finish slapping him before, like by about 15-30 or minutes and i had to wait a ridiculously long time for the Superhuman intel to generate. Then again i made a lot of other mistakes too, like accidentally putting Wasp or someone other like her to do a normal mission and soon realizing that a crime scene mission was also available.

Bucky was difficult to get without paying shards (let alone ranking him up), but most F2Ps had to pay fewer shards than you had gotten for grabbing all the other F2P characters, so it wasn't awful. Bucky was also explicitly early access. And everything else was actually pretty doable. I was able to get all the F2Ps to rank 5 with like 50 hours to spare.

This event has seriously upped the stress factor with the episode timers, introduction of RNG pretty much everywhere, and cockblock "game" mechanics. Unlike previous events, premos have given players who buy them serious advantages in completing the events, while the events have been slanted to make it mathematically impossible, or very close to impossible, to get desirable, supposedly F2P goals, making the event feel very P2W. Couple all that with some general scummy behavior--for instance, finally making an existing Cap costume available in response to a Marvel-dictated mandate (which said the Cap-related content had to be free), and only behind extremely difficult mechanics.

Finally there's been the mismanagement, between bugs the company refuses to acknowledge and not having subsequent episodes ready to go as current episodes end, and the whole event just looks like a fucking train wreck.
