I don't know shit about competitive modes but they should allow people to substitute in.
I mean, not force them into a game, but make an option in the menu where you can either start a new competitive match or sub in for some quitter.
Your team will still be in a huge disadvantage for that period of time where the leaver can rejoin and you have to wait for the sub though so they should make it so there's less of a rank drop for people who stick around and have to deal with leavers.

Bastion has really neat guns that go well with the Overgrown skin, but it's bastion so...
I play a lot of Reaper but I can only see the gold guns looking good with his skellyskins and wight, and I enjoy the Reyes facial expressions too much to switch for a long while.
Pimping out Rein's hammer on his already overaestheticized skins makes my eyes want to vomit which is all the more reason to get it, since I want people to know I'm THE TOP SHITTER
Dva's gold is kinda nice but I can't get away with playing her much, maybe after buff.
Golden orbs for Djinnyatta are amazing and I hope his buff lasts.
Golden 76 gun goes with his golden skin, but I like Bone and Morrison too much to switch.
I'm no quake pro so I usually don't bother with Pharah.
McCree's gambler is amazing.
Winston's cannon looks pretty alright.
Maybe Ana's or save for the next hero.

Low 50s matchmaking is literally hell. It's such a fucking random crapshoot of teammates and it's impossible to tell who belongs sub 50 and who actual good players are. The only reason I dropped is because a terrible friend of mine wanted to duo for a while and we lost every game we played thanks to being placed in low MMR matches.

High 50s matches on the other hand are much more consistent, though I say that after losing a massive fucking washout since my DPS was clinically retarded and you can't carry as Lucio. Fucking Koreans who never fucking chat and play shit Hanzos like it's not their problem and then hop on Junkrat on offense and literally never ever push past the first choke on Hanamura FUCK THAT GUY WAS BRAINDEAD. Yes I'm salty about ranking down because of that.

The main problem I have is that there's too many people at the middle rating. You probably haven't seen what it's like 46-54 but the difference in skill level is pretty big sometimes and completely random. 60% of the game or whatever it is are not the same skill as each other, it's just not true. The shittest person at the game should be 1, the best 100. Instead the highest we have is something like 80?
