I'm almost at 50 mythril right now, but I still haven't used the "beginner's choice" pull.

I'm using Kain (muh favorite), Lightning, Nekidd Seph, Aerith as an healer since I got her 5* staff with a yolopull and Cloud (I hate him but I managed to get the level-breaking crystal in the event so it seems the right thing to do).

I have another soul of hero, I was thinking of GILGAMESH/DK Cecil. I kind of wanted Exdeath but he's a pure mage from what I see, attack stat is crap and the beginning of the game seems very attack-centric.

Also have Rydia and her adult "costume".

Don't pull for black mages, they're ass. Don't pull on Beginner, relics are obsolete. Pull for Kain SSB, or save for half-off "Nightmare" banners that happen every month. The next two should be Support and Celerity, which means you have a good chance for getting good relics for good characters.

Your #1 priority should be obtaining a Wall (Tyro Sentinel Grimoire or Yshtola Thyrus) and/or Ramza's Platinum Sword. With either of those, all U/U+ content will be significantly easier allowing you to focus on pulling for whatever you want.

Dont die yet please FF15 isnt out. The game that will finally beat FF7 as the best FF.

Played since the soft launch. I used probably 1300 or so lapis increasing slots (materials and equipment), and I've spent 10K lapis to get 22 summon tickets (used 11 of them to get Exdeath and Leo, and like 8 of the free ones only to get Kefka when I wanted Golbez). I don't even do anything besides the arena now, and now that I've completed it I probably won't touch the game except for Cactaur Dunes and Magicite weekend until new content comes out.

1. 3 minutes per stamina but you get plenty of elixirs to keep playing whenever you really want to

2. It depends on your goal at the time. New areas take around 3-5 hours to clear completely if you have a decent ability base and job. There is auto battle so if you have decent equip everything but bosses can be auto. Skilling up cards is the biggest timesink depending on available skill ups. Skilling up works like in puzzle and dragon except it shows you exactly the percentage chance and it can reach 100%.
3. Stamina sinks are evo material dungeons, farming job exp anywhere, and limited ticket cost exp dungeon you can open whenever you have the tickets.

The game only takes me about 5-10 hours a week to do the new events and dailies. The multiplayer drags it to 10 but you don't get anything essential from it. The game is very casual friendly and you will reach a point grinding isn't necessary until the next event or story map.

The gacha has 3 different pulls. Singles can be done where a job or an ability could appear. Then a 6 ticket where 5 abilities and a random job card appear. After that there is a 6 ability pull where if you have all the new jobs and just want more abilities. During events you get an extra event ability card with your 6 pull. This ability card cannot be a dupe so you can eventually collect all the special event cards if you pull enough times. All ability cards can pop out from 3 star to 5 star rarity. There is special events where the ability cards come out skilled up or awakened automatically. Even has events with a none dupe ability or job card guaranteed

I like the story from the limited Japanese I do know, but the gameplay is like a single unit FF13. You don't need much from the gacha and if you do get lucky in it then it just means you don't have to work as hard as others to clear the new content. The only way you get screwed is if you consistently draw the few bad jobs. Majority of jobs are above decent

This game is pretty impossible to reroll in if we start the same way JP did. The first 6 roll you do is after you collect enough for your monthly ticket. A monthly ticket is a sort of pass that gives you a bunch of items and a free 6 roll for half the price of one, but most importantly gives you the auto-battle function. It takes quite a while to reach this point without auto-battling, more than a few hours. The basic jobs are enough to clear more content to get 2 more 6 draws for a decent job. Even after that, the dailies and monthly draws will keep coming so rerolling isn't worth it. New good jobs come out all the time so you'll eventually have one. If you manage to not roll a job after all this there will be top tier jobs for sale with the in-game gil currency at some point too.

Mostly. The problem I have with dismissal is that it is only a 25% chance of it actually working, so if you don't have good RNG then you just wasted a skill slot. It can be decent mitigation but you got way better options IMO

I actually played this game. Quit while I was ahead. Got too whale-y.

Anyway, yeah this game died and it was under DeNA, but it was kind of a niche game. It was easy enough, but it might have bored a "casual" who likes candy crush or farmville. Pretty fun though.

Towards the end of the life, it stopped having events and having new units. It did like 1 event every 2 months for 4 months and then said fuck you all. We'll know FFRK is ending when that starts to happen. It doesn't seem like it'll happen anytime soon.

I've played so many RPGs over the years that it just feels incredibly generic and bland. Don't force yourself to play it, you will just hate it in the end.
Try it on a portable device like a PSP, a portable raspberry pc or maybe a phone. I played V for the second time just a few months ago on my phone (mostly playing on my bed), and it is one of my favorite FF game now. So I just got my first 5* weapon in RK. I've noticed that it's picked up experience at the end of battles. What happens when it gets enough experience?

That means that it's a character-specific relic with a Unique Soul Break for them. Once you've maxed the EXP, they don't have to equip that specific relic to be able to use the Soul Break.
