honestly why are we having such a spergout over Darkest Hour not being in the top part of the info pic? I agree that it's probably more popular than EU Rome (who even plays that dead game?) but even in the info pics without it they still include Kaiserreich in the mods area which, lets be honest, is 80% why people still even play with the other 20% being other mods.

if you bothered to read my posts you would notice I wanted to place Distant Worlds, Darkest Hour, and EU Rome into the Other section of the infopic and cut out the buttom row of major games because all three are more rarely posted. Darkest Hour is one of my personal favorites but its definitely being eclipsed particularly due to HoI undercutting one of its major selling points being easier to play than HoI3, in addition if you notice almost anytime someone posts a DH game playthrough here its with a mod.
I'd also add I would like the infopic to have an overall in general since portions of it are highly outdated. As I noted I'm pretty sure not a single EU4 mod on there is up to date.

I tested the cb_types file uploaded by an anon in the last thread, and while it has successfully modified holy wars (although not crusades) so that Messalians can declare them on any Christian group and all Christian groups can likewise declare them on Messalians, I'm experiencing some weird behavior where rulers who should be able to call holy wars on Messalian leaders don't have the CB available, although I'm not sure if that's just me missing something.

Anyway, for those who aren't aware I've been trying to modify the HIP versions of the Holy War and Crusade CBs so all Christian sects and heresies can declare them against Messalians and vice-versa, to help make the AAR more challenging. I've been having serious trouble, though, as have the anons who have been trying to help me, and I could use any help I can get.

Here's a .rar with the files I have right now. The first is an anon's modified (basegame) cb_types files, which allowed Messalians to declare holy wars and crusades and vice-versa with other Christians; the only issue with this file is that other Christians also called Crusades on each other, which I didn't like, but the file couldn't be used anyway because HIP makes major changes to the cb_types file. The second file is the second anon's work patching in the first anon's conditions (to the religious CB *ONLY*), which seems to have worked plus/minus the odd behavior with declarations I've been seeing. The third file is an unedited version of my HIP cb_types file, in case it's needed:

1) Play as the Khanty steppe people, migrate my tribe to Europe and settle Hungarian-style
2) Play as a Coptic tribe in Abyssinia/Nubia, reform into a Republic and conquer East Africa and the Levant
3) Play as a minor Muslim sheikh or emir in Persia, convert to Nestorianism and make a Christian Persian empire

I remember a game as China in Vicky 2 where I defeated all the rebellions and crap, and by 1910 I had like 90% literacy. I was getting close to the 1 billion pops too. It totally fucked up the game economy, and I was having emigration in the 20k mark. I had like 15k industrial score, so everything was cheap because because there was too much supply. At the end I invaded Latin America because they had too much empty arable land, which my people really needed.

I guess it was the most interesting Vicky 2 game I had.
