Next step is setting up two-step to every important service that offers it such as mail and bank and then runescape. Set a pin and authenticate.

You can do both, really.
Set up highsec and lowsec passwords. Use KPX for highsec shit you don't check daily, like your bank, lowsec for your games and other shit that doesn't matter in the scheme of things. Essentially you can also make keyfiles for the database, keep a copy of your database on every system you own including your phone and rename the file, so no one knows what it is.

Like a random file on your phone called logfile.txt, then change the extension to the proper readable kpx database format when you need the backup. Hide your backups in plain sight.

I'm pretty sure you can an auth program downloaded to a laptop. I used to do it. There's a good open source authenticator that works. I think it's on the google app store, useable on windows. Windows also has one that works similarly. There's literally no excuse for not using an authenticator of some type and there's tons of ways to get that shit working. You can even emulate and android phone and do it that way, on your PC, if you so wish.
