LK10 is quite hard, but it's still easier than 25man because it's much easier to find and coordinate 10 good people with adequate gear. Same with Sindragosa, it's pretty hard on 10man, but it's much more likely that you will find a group that will do it on 10man.

People get nostalgic about Vanilla because they were young when they played it when in actuality Vanilla is fucking boring.

TBC didn't get good until TK and then all of Hyjal was shit, BT was a total chore and very boring until Mother and Sunwell was when the expansion actually got good. The most fun I had in TBC was doing ZA timed runs.

T7 was literal cancer, T8 was amazing but not that difficult if you had a good guild, T9 was a joke, T10 was fun for awhile.

Some Cata raids are a lot of fun but the expansion itself definitely killed WoW.

I logged onto Warmane Icecrown (That's http://www.warmane.com/ if you are curious) and everything was so smooth it really made me feel I've gone back to the golden days of WoW! Everything was perfectly scripted and the people spoke English very well! The server was packed with thousands of players, more players than Atlantiss even.

I recommend Warmane Icecrown as the best WoTLK experience.

Hello friends, this a post adressing our Atlantiss players

I originally wanted to contact Senna in game but due to raid logging, its impossible. So i decided to post it in the thread instead for everyone to see.

Lately me and several other players have noticed that the loot distribution is configured in a very weird fashion. New people with low dps are given better items over old members with good dps. I think its unfair to punish those who spend time and effort upgrading their character. How can a new guy, one week in guild, deserve a trinket over old members? Was it because he was using funny memes? Was it because he said something?

If things dont change, there will be consequences. I dont mean this as some caveman threat of smashing your face. I mean it as there will be several people not logging in to raid with you guys anymore.

To be honest the level of effort it takes to clear up to illidari council on a 2x TBC server is far superior to what it takes to clear all normals of naxx and ulduar on a 4x wotlk one with RDF. the whole leveling and gearing process is first of all much longer and TBC raids take much longer with all the trash and what not.

ToD and Hellground have the same base rates. 4x is a relatively recent addition to the server compared to when /wpsg/ first rolled on it. 1-80 with 2x takes longer than 1-70 with 2x and gearing takes just as long on TBC as it does on wrath if you aren't a lazy cunt.

The thing I like most about Warmane is it's claims to be Blizzlike. Every private server claims to be Blizzlike in one way or another, but there's a huge difference. While the lagfests and cyrillic, alien languages plague nearly all popular private servers, they use Blizzlike as an advertisement. Not Warmane. Warmane uses Blizzlike as a homage to what they've completely revamped and improved upon in a way that the original author could never accomplish. Luckily - it is truth. It is the best scripted cataclysm server with almost almost all quests working (no more than 2% is broken- but actively fixed!). The website is available in both languages with the same content, the forum is also available in English and what is the most important:on global channel people speak English. HG didn't have RAF back when Video Games was first fired up. It was 2x, and having leveled on both, leveling to max on HG at 2x took about twice the time it took to level to 80 on ToD (2 days vs 4 days /played). Some classes are not as smooth to level in TBC as they are in WOTLK either (like warriors for example, prot is just crazy in WOTLK straight from the get-go.)

I was here with you on Lordaeron then GD for a moment but then I left to go back to assfaggots legal legends

But I no longer have the level I once had and thus the game has lost purpose for me

Where does the majority of you play now?

Is Lordaeron still alive or did it die somehow during my break? (I'd rather play with you but leveling the whole way again puts me off, so I'd maybe like to keep going with my 80 on Mol10)

In any case I think I'll have to download my 3.3.5 client again because I feel for the epic updated models from the mol10 client and now I cannot choose a character name in creation otherwise it fucks up

Alliance, Horde just won't be fresh enough to get enough people. There's not enough older players joining Horde to get a guild running, but there's too many and they will not want to be doing lower tier content, which the rest will be wanting to do. So there will be a split where half the guild raid logs where as the rest try to desperately catch up and it all goes to shit. Eventually players with older chars get bored of waiting for the rest to catch up and quit before any proper content after a couple of weeks of Heroic/Kara/ZA gearing.
