Yeah, they all have natural white sharpness and don't gain anything from handicraft once they're maxed out. Narga weapons just usually have a 40% affinity bonus, while Seregios gets like 15% or 20%. Raw is usually the same, except sometimes the Tempest does more raw in exchange for less affinity.

It appears that the regular Narga one lacks a power phial, though the deviant weapon does have one. The Steve SA still has two slots in a game where they're not easy to come by on armor, so I suppose it's one point in its favor.

SA's axe mode should turned into its own weapon. No one fucking uses axe mode so the moveset is free to be tweaked and buffed and turned into a weapon of its own, SA players never leave sword mode, so not having axe won't affect them.

Just give sword mode a new mechanic where the power phial recharges as you hit monsters, and the discharge does more damage the more gauge you have when you use it. This makes the discharge an actual part of the weapon instead of something people don't really do because X,X,X,X,X,X,X,X,X,X,X is more efficient.

There is a low rank gore and seregios in village.
Was it a Low rank or an High rank set?
Also, Gore comes with 24 defense per piece, so 110 at level 1.
170 still sounds possible for low rank.

I always find it funny to finish village, craft the set of the last big monster and then go into HR1 and do mundane shit like killing a great jaggi.

I am so bummed out, I was planing since cross was released in Japan to main HH when it came to the west. But I want to play Gen for what it is, and HH have no fun arts, and the styles don't bring much to the table either. The two other weapons that I like to use are on the top tier list, which is fine, but the lance charge is boring, and SA gets boring after a while, especially in Striker. GS is cool, but not too fond of either of the styles either,

You can set it so one of the Z buttons do it in the options, but that's it. You can't do both all arts and target snap with buttons, you've got to pick one or the other. Except for art 1 which always has a button command.
