I don't get why people are really salty about spoofing. I don't practice spoofing, and while I think it's kind of lame, it doesn't really affect the experience that much for the rest of us.

Pokemon GO is like a fitness tracker app. It's meant to be a collection of personal goals, it's supposed to facilitate experiences. If someone hacks their fitness trainer and makes it so that they run every day for achievements and milestones, they're really only cheating themselves. The game isn't giving you anything but fake little meaningless rewards. The real reward is hanging out with your friends, going outside, and meeting new people who you would have otherwise never spoken to.

I mean, maybe the reward for spoofers is just the idea of beating a system. They want to feel above the rules, and hey, if that gives you some kind of validation- that's fine.

Truth be told, if my friends weren't here, I would probably do it too. But having them around means that if I start spoofing, I'll just get ahead of them and render the experience less enjoyable- since we all started together and are all roughly the same level. It's fun to feel like we're growing as a team.

Depends on your character level. Look at the CP bar, look for an eevee with a CP bar that's almost filled up.

So I've killed all my shitmons (repeated ones) and now I have a lucky egg and enough coins for another one and many possible evoultions. Smart cheaters will be smart and just dominate some small localities and generally not be that big of a problem.

Sure, I see 1000+ CP pokemon dominating most gyms, but if you actually go outside you'll find some 600's that are manageable for someone who has been playing legit for a few days.

If you're cheating smart, you're really not doing that much better than someone who just goes outside regularly.

Nobody really knows. Honestly, nobody even knows that they'll do ban waves, all of the posts so far are speculation based on Niantic's history with Ingress. It's hard to tell what they'll actually do and how they'll be affected by past experience and their partnership with Nintendo.

I'm confused about when I should be using stardust and when I should conserve it. I know CP is directly related to player level but when should I start leveling?
