Wow. I actually got 12 wins with a good deck.

Tried laddering again with my Dragon Warrior, Zoolock and Shaman, get a giant chain of lost games due to bad draw or bad curve

Is playing control the only way to not fall victim to this? I would like some control over my games for once instead of praying I get certain cards out of 30 in alot of matchups

Control is favored against aggro, it's not a direct counter because you can easily get fucked up by not drawing answers. That's also why priest is so shit, they don't have the draw like warriors do with acolyte + whirlwind effects, shield block, slam. Priest really only has acolyte for one and ps:w that's more situational than slam or shield block.

The biggest problem with Hearthstone is that the strongest decks also practically play themselves. Ladder gets swarmed with low-skill casuals who will beat high skill 'enthusiasts' just because of their deck.

Tempo deck is about developing the board and destroying board of other player at the same time. Ravaging ghoul, flamewaker, si7, goblin blastmage, van cleef after backstab-prep-fan board clear. These decks win a lot by shifting tempo margin and comboing key cards to do that and snowball further.

How good is Doomcaller in C'thun Warrior really? I made this cookie cutter list yesterday and I'm doing pretty good with it (8-3, never played control warrior before) but never once did I use Doomcaller to actually revive Cthun, I either played him before Cthun or never drew him.
I understand that it's for control matchups but those are pretty good already and wouldn't Elise be better in this slot anyway?

It's typical situation that happened several times in the meta. Paladin sucks and/or plays slow deck this set. People have to do dailies and make aggro paladins to exploit surprise factor and wrong mulligans. Two weeks later everybody get used to it and aggro paladin no longer works, its numbers drop drastically.

Paladin needs either Cockhammer or Muster back, no 2 ways about it. Muster was disgusting for a reason, Paladin literally has no pre turn 4 tempo before it. It's a fat token sweeper that you will heal a lot or use taunt giver. Maybe even buff if it grows big enough to eat 3-4 health minions. Minion that benefits greatly from sustaining it is as good flavour-wise for priest as you can get in this game. Do you want every priest to be about stealing shit and healing directly? Your class is already in the right spot in flavor and aesthetics then.

That's useless for a two drop, it can't kill anything but tokens and you have to waste 2 mana if you want to heal it. If Velen's was still a thing it could be good but not like this. Gaining benefit from killing minions was never a priest thing and there is no reason it should be now, priest doesn't have a problem with lack of flavour it has a problem with not getting good cards.
