They can make the lighter mechs small when they unfuck their hit detection and latency, I pummeled the fucking shit out of a wolfhound that got caught on a rock for a couple of seconds today and it basically did nothing. I was in an assault and throwing around enough shit to walk through heavies, and the wolfhound didn't even go into internals in any bodypart despite being at almost 0 speed.

It's not a matter of it's size.

It's a matter of it being bugged and stuck in the map. That's what fucked up hit detection not latency or the server or even your aim.

There's almost nothing wrong with hit detection and wolfhounds are huge.

I can't speak for Banshees personally, but the Zeus used to be fun, the fAtlass is a piece of slow shit, even with all its structure quirks. Highlanders are a cruel, cruel joke. So are Battlemasters. So that leaves you Stalkers, Awesomes, and Maulers, the latter of the three is my favorite, and probably most recommended. You should like them too, since the bloody things are basically just biggur Warhammers. Do NOT use missiles of any kind. Run Quad UAC5s on your MX90, with no lasers, 20 armor on each arm, and no lower than a 315 engine. Stuff the rest with as much ammo as you can. If you're a fan of AC/20's, put two in a 1P with 4 medium lasers as backup.

The LBX series has been a spread weapon since MW2.

The superior characteristics and availability of slug ammo for IS LBX10 cannons in MWO can be easily balanced by increasing their cooldown so that they trade DPS for all of the advantages. Since the Clans have a full set of LBX and Ultras that relationship can be adjusted somewhat.

Though to really fix a lot of these spread weapons, the mechanics of getting an effective critical hit need to be modified so that many pellets are actually better and more likely to cause one than big boolets, which is how it works right now. That would be a even more significant change than giving LBX cannons the ability to swap ammo. AP and Precision ammo for standard ACs would be nice to have too.

Just because you can stuff enough double heatsinks into a warhawk with 4 ERPPCs to barely mitigate firing two of them at the same time, and maintaining a rate of fire doesn't mean the clan double heatsinks are good.

Not a meme. They have to get multiple-fire mode working eventually or you gradually get more and more weapons that just don't function properly. LB-Xs and flamers were the first, SRMs are missing inferno capacity as well. Later on, normal ACs get dicked on not being able to fire AP and other alt ammo, then ATM/MML launchers are screwed. Eventually, VPLs, whereupon PGI has successfully fucked up missiles, ballistics, and energy weapons because they can't make one gun fire different projectiles.

Srm 6s have shit spread so you really have to be right next to your target to make the most of them. Srm 4s have similar dps and will give you much better damage on target and if you use only one type of srm then your cooldown module will be more beneficial.

I thought for sure that there'd be 100k+ scrubs and gold men who login over a one month period of time, based solely on PGI's ultra hardcore insistence that they have players, but even a low 100k estimate wasn't low enough.

No matter how little you expect of them, or how shit you think they are, PGI always finds a way to dig the hole a bit deeper.

I also didn't think a full fifth of the game would be having problems earning those easy 100 match score event rewards.

Just disgusting.
