Overwatch is the only game where MMR Hell actually exists. And not because of bad players, but because of the masses of leavers and how the game deals with leavers.

Nigga as someone that used to think Junkat was nothing more than average and irrelevant (Not quite d.va/mei/zenyatta tier, but not good enough to warrant picking) but has recently discovered the awesome raw power of TrashMouse: You couldn't be more wrong

The difference between a good Junkrat and a bad Junkrat is huge. Anyone can throw out traps and mines and spam M1 and M2 and blow shit up and hope for kills

But landing air shot and consistently bouncing grenades where you want them takes some serious practice.

The simple fact that Junkrat can consistently knock people up in the air is extremely useful considering it lets him kill anyone that isnt a tank with just a mine + airshot grenade if he can land the airshot, because of the huge amount of damage both attacks do.

You need to think more about game sense than raw number of players ressed.

If your tank dies while you defend point one, you generally want to rez him asap unless you see the enemy team focusing someone squishy (in which case you can expect two). You have a lot of time to read the situation before deciding to rez and that's important to using the ability correctly.

There isn't really an algorithm for it, it's mostly experience / gut instinct

You have the fastest charging ult in the game, so it's perfectly acceptable to solo rez. You have to know who's worth solo rezzing though. Usually I'll rez tanks, 76, pharah, and junkrat. I don't bother with squishies. Also don't rez them into a situation where they'll just be hamburgered again.

Also, before you revive, check for any low health team members and just access the situation.

You can fire from up to 50 meters away (around 29 times soldier 76's height) and still do more damage than Genji's shuriken while having an easier time aiming. Only a stationary target isn't going to be able to avoid them at that range. You're just bad or getting severely outplayed.

Pharah's rockets do 120 damage on direct hits and fire off single shots with splash that can be used intermittently in precisely the same fashion plus many more. You need to get two headshots and a bodyshot with each burst to surpass that damage as Genji. No genji is going to consistently get at least two headshots and no misses from outside of 50 meters, even with an aimbot due to their non-hitscan speed.

On top of that, you can shoot intermittently with mercys blaster in the same fashion and still outdps genji. Dying to genji's shuriken from afar is litteraly as bad as getting killed by Mercy's pistol.
