Trying out different ENBs. I like how SoS applies a DoF effect when you focus on a character. It reminds me of Oblivion. Seems to not hit performance has hard as Unbleak either. I got 30 - 40 on average with that. This is giving 50 + FPS indoors and about 40 outside. I'm fine with anything above 10 for screenshots. Actually playing with ENB just seems strange when I've been playing Skyrim for nearly 5 years without it.

Ultimately I prefer Unbleak for its higher contrast. I just have to get rid of all that blue.

Oh fuck it, I can't sleep so I might as well post my experience with enderal and why I thought it was kind of shit

You start out with a dream sequence where you walk a bit through their "nice" set piece.
This is my first gripe; The mod looks gorgeous, but the flora looks like ass, so everything outdoors is vomitworthy.
You talk a bit with your dad by picking inconsequential lines of dialogue, then you go inside get jumpscared, find the only worthy thing in the mod - Saturn eating his son wow such symbolism, it rhymes like fucking pottery - then you go into the kitchen, where your dad finds you and all hell breaks loose as you pick some more inconsequential dialog and then all hell literally breaks loose and you're also reminded that you're the chosen one

Then you wake up on a boat, have some inconsequential dialog with your inconsequential friend and create your character from one of four races: elf, white, somewhat white, or nigger.
You're stowaways by the way and get spotted and have a fistfight, which is still as terrible in vanilla. You win it but then a magical lady shows up and tells you you're the chosen one and does some inconsequential magic and you fall asleep.

You wake up on the deck and the captain has found you and inconsequentially kills your inconsequential friend and throws you overboard. Underwater you see some pretty ruins and (I think) a fish.
Then you fall asleep and wake up between three rocks. This is where one of the more retarded things show up. Imagine pressing tab, the menu shows up, but the top option isn't there. That's what this mod is like. Instead, you equip a power, use it, get teleported to the cell you're in now. It looks pretty. There's three stones around you that serves the exact same purpose as perk trees, except you have to spend way more time to look at the individual perks. But at least it looks pretty.

I know right? I'm at about 30 FPS with it. If I was used to playing at that, I'd keep it on all the time. It looks amazing. The description also boasts of tools to easily personalize it, so not only is it great as it is, but tweaking it should be a little easier than the regular ENB interface, which is kind of intimidating.

It's great. It feels like Undead Burg pre-collapse, if that makes any sense. I've spent a lot of time in the Lower Town listening to the thieves' stories, they're great to hear. I kept going in and out of the haunted house, but the voices eventually repeated themselves. Finding out about the Dunmer and Argonians' relationship was quite touching as well. Nexus page isn't much help quest-wise (apart from stating it exists) so we'll just have to keep an eye out.

A squandered crossbow.
It is made up of unpolished and splintering oak, engraved steel, and a worn string.
It is, however "enchancted" by Ser Knight's signature, which had been received in return for the location of ancestral moths, though its effects are unknown or unnoticeable.
The reason being why it is her weapon of choice- it requires little skill or strength to use as opposed to a bow- except for pulling the string back. Load. Aim. Squeeze the lever.

That sounds like an interesting concept. Cries is the escaped slave right? The idea of the dragonborn being at the lowest level of society and just kinda winging it seems like fun.

For most of her life, Tristram only knew the rugged feeling of a harsh makeshift weapon in her hands. When she finally left the Forsworn, she became fascinated with many things, such as how silvery smooth some weapons can be. Be it the custom made dagger of Eorlund Graymane, or the lost dagger of a nameless bard, she appreciates fine weapon work.

However, that's not to say that the weapons of savages have become unfamiliar in her hands.

I figured out it's not the vanilla armor, but a custom mod-added one which looks exactly like the original except for the bloated belly.

I dedicated one of my roster specifically to being the LDB and his story was built with that specifically in mind. Most of my other characters have met or at least know him in some manner. There are a few "convergence points" I have, events that they all, or at least most, take part in or witness at the same time, like Rogvir's execution everybody was in the crowd or the Battle of Whiterun either taking part or being witnesses since several are based out of there. Gretchen, the redheaded warrior I don't really play anymore who runs around with Erik the Slayer, for instance, is a member of the Blades as was recruited by him. Galena knows him, as he lives in Whiterun Mansion. Kayleigh "knows" him, since he likes the ladies wherever he goes. He'll hire on Camenbaire at some point for some job or other. He won't have the run-in with Feyrenziah I originally planned, since she's no longer a throwaway that tries to assassinate him and fails. Probably shared drinks with Anwnwenwyn and Melirel, the elf I retired that did the Companions quests.
