Get close enough that you can M2 - Melee - Dash for some good burst damage you can do in a fraction of a second

Remember thats your strength as genji, quick burst, if the enemies start focusing you get the fuck out and attack from another angle.

Dont rely on deflect like its a kill button, use it when you need to close gaps or escape to avoid dying, the damage reflect is just a bonus

Jump around like a mad man, jump over enemies heads, attack from behind, etc.

Honestly Junkrat has become my go to defense character if I dont fancy playing tracer/genji/reaper.

The bombs do so much damage, and a well placed trap can completely fuck up a flanking path, as does continuously lobbing bombs down it

Chucking your mine in the direction of the enemy for massive damage and popping them up in the air and away from the objective is also great

He's so fun to play, just dealing fucktons of damage to get your ult up asap and then feeling the fear in the enemy when they hear FIRE IN THE HOLE

I do a lot of designing for RPGs and shit. Despite not even wanting to work on it, vidya is pretty much the only way to actually potentially make money in game design, so this shit is my lifeblood.

After a long day of dealing with shitters screaming in one ear telling me that the game is unbalanced/worthless (but still playing it) and having marketing people scream in my other ear telling me to buff something so that the product can sell...yeah, I don't care anymore. I can hold 2-3 enemies attention for a good couple of minutes while getting kills, force enemies to switch to sub optimal picks to try and counter me (and fail)

There are very few situations where I wouldn't pick Tracer
