So we're all aware this games matchmaking is nowhere near balanced right?

I just played a game against a friend of mine. I play with him a lot and we have pretty comparable skill levels. He was coming off a losing steak, me a winning streak.

His team was all 52%+ WR players with mics and all communicated, drafted well and worked together. They rotated all game, warded well and systematically pushing us to the strengths of their team right on their timings.

My team was 3 sub 45% players, a 48% player and myself. 2 didn't speak English and raged at each other all game in what I think was Vietnamese. The other 2 didn't have mics and could only type GG. We refused to talk about the draft, then drafted 5 carries, refused to buy a courier then salted at each other for it, leave the jungle or carry TP's and could not coordinate to save our lives.

I've seen through the looking glass now valve. I did not believe in forced 50, but there is literally no other explanation. The illusion that matchmaking is even remotely balanced has been destroyed. Fuck this game, I'm back charging my goyim pass and am done with this shit.

Those are really the only anime series I can espouse, for manga there's a lot more like BLAME! and NOiSE.

Other anime that are not really cyberpunk but kind of are stuff like Dirty Pair!, Ergo Proxy, and Serial Experiments Lain but Dirty Pair! is more of a sci-fi buddy cop comedy, Ergo Proxy is a writing mess in an interesting setting, and Serial Experiments Lain is more of a metaphorical series about human interaction and behavior.

It's not matchmaking, it's literally NA Dota. This is why American players sometimes swallow the ping handicap and queue on EU. EU has Russians, but the Russians will at least "TRY" to fucking win. NA has people who random in ranked, people who take month-long hiatuses and then queue ranked for their first game back, and worst of all, people who think they're hot shit and will bait their entire team into a wipe by ping spamming.

Clockwerk has the same issue no matter what. He's an initiator whose hero synergy is built around him splitting up fights with cogs, sniping enemies with rocket flare, and solo killing with battery assault. He is all offensive. He does not have great strength gain, he does not have high armor. Furthermore he does not have real burst damage (battery assault kills anyone who isn't a support quite slowly after all) so when he initiates he does not easily get a kill and then get out.

The hero is very vulnerable whenever he hookshots in (or blinks in) he is probably going to die or not get a kill and be forced to retreat. Clockwerk needs a rework overall, the hero does not play well from behind and cannot farm jungle as efficiently as other offlaners or lane as well as other offlaners.

Nowdays I go aquila and a raindrop into echo saber with phase. Echo gives you all the mana regen you need and makes your right click not completely worthless so you can hit creeps and towers and things while also adding a lot to your initial burst

I started mango, stout and tangos. Kept 175 and got quelling from side-shop immediately.

I was against a safelane void with an oracle who dipped in and out a few times, so it was sort of chill. I went aquila, 8 minute arcanes, then 13 minute blink. I assure you most of those last hits would've been missed without the aquila, even with the fucking quelling.

I also had something like 1.7 mana regen which is huge for Nyx, even with arcanes.

Is there no real punishment for dodging games before the hero select screen?

Today I dc and abandoned 3 games during the loading screen after checking profiles and seeing obvious trolls/shitters with a page of losses. Worst I got was "Can't queue for 20 mins", so I'm guessing it's not possible to get LP by doing this?

After half an hour of deliberation, admins presumably resolved the situation by declaring Newbee winners (the English casters didn't know what was going on but VG.R said gg and left the game). Which, I think, is a truly outrageous decision (Newbee did get a good initiation before DC screwed things up and probably would have won the fight decisively so forcing them VG.R to accept a loss in the fight and then play from there would have been one thing, but it wouldn't have been a completely decisive engagement that would have prevented VG.R from still having a shot).

You obviously go safelane, starting items are tango, salve, stout shield, ring of protection. Save your first skillpoint, you want to be able to put it into mana break to immediately start off strong in lane and force the offlane back. Get quelling blade and basi (the mana reg is amazing), no pms. Dont forget a raindrop.

From now on you can solo anyone, add pickoffs to your farm

Skillbuild: since vanguard can be built early you dont need to go stats anymore and can start off maxing mana break to absolutely secure your lane. Stats still speed up your farming though. Also dont undervalue your passive. Abyssal and a maxed passive males you almost unkillable in the midgame, so if there os high magic damage going against you, you want this maxed before you fight.
Other than that am is all about efficiency, ricing hard and having the required map awareness to do all of that. Pnce you get good enough you can play with your enemies, skipping waves even after t2 to force rotations and get almost any enemy movement under your control, while blink enables you to safely get away every time. Protect your towers not by trying to fight head on but by split pushing, cutting waves and tping late to snatch exit kills with mana void.
Practise makes perfect.
