Playing 2 healers 2 tanks its not a panacea.
If your buddies is not shitters at aim you just focus enemy healers and their team is completely done due lack of dps, they just will not be able to outperform your damage.

I literally have seen Winston played twice ever in an actual game. One time he demolished everything and the other time he was free meter.

Supports are either shit or they're fantastic and it honestly feels like there's no in-between. Symmetra is weird because she's BOTH, sometimes simultaneously.

Hanzo and Roadhog would instantly be about 40% less annoying if the hitboxes got fixed, but I'm not holding my breath on that one. Both can be reasonably outplayed, even if I personally am incapable of dealing with Streetpig's combos most of the time. I imagine Hanzo also gets more annoying the higher you get and the better players are playing him.

What are you talking about? Maps are a huge and underrated one and important to balance too. There's also game modes, something from TF2 that Overwatch actually should shamelessly steal. The problem with different loadouts is that they create cancerous upgrades and balance issues. On top of already balancing the base class. Blizzard just said they're going to make new heroes any time they want to add a new set of weapons and abilities. The difference between that and adding a new weapon is you can't mix and match shit released over the years to create a cancer kit that barely resembles the original class like Dr. Enforcicle.

Instead of resetting the overtime counter, being on the objective makes the timer tick in the opposite direction. So visiting the point for X seconds gives X more seconds of overtime to a maximum of 10.

This must be what blizz is testing now. It's the most obvious solution.

He's pretty easy to pick up and easy to score headshots with. The only problems are that his side skills are only okay or absolutely terrible.

He needs a nerf in the sense that the hitboxes need fixed, which is why I also gave him the "Complete Rework" mark. His side skills need buffed, fixed, or replaced.

how do you judge playing bad? I only switch to mei if the enemy team is really really bad (not your usual sub 30 bad). Mostly we are just some very bad roadhogs, which generate an instant ultimate (i think gunning down 1000 hp is one ultimate, so you run into the enemy team and heal yourself)

Mercy needs a nerf to her ult charge rate, nothing too major but it charges way too fast for something like that.

Zenyatta could use like 25 more health/shields/armor, any of that. He's way too vulnerable as it is, but any major amount would be game breaking due to discord orb.

They're not always one in the same. There could be a new map of the same type of game mode and a new map that's also featuring a new game mode.

There are pros and cons to doing what Tf2 is doing and Blizzard already locked in the other method by having 21 heroes. No way are they going to try to release sidegrades for so many characters and unlike Tf2 they rarely even have more than one weapon on them. Overwatch's method is to keep the weapons restricted to one kit which makes balancing a bit easier and the upside to this is that we get a brand new character. Newly modeled, voiced, and with their own set of skins, highlight intros, etc.

That means they can't just throw in a set of new weapons for you to collect, and the wait might be a bit longer since it's more work to design a hero from the ground up but I think it's a decent trade off.
