It's always a set number of terrorists for each game mode. In extract hostage on normal difficulty, it's 20 enemies on the map plus 3 more at the extraction point. If you kill all 20, then the grab the hostage, you just have to deal with the final 3. If you kill a couple of enemies before picking up the hostage, then you'll have to deal with all the rest at the extraction point and with the roamers.

The problem with him is a competent BB will know how to peak, and a decent teammate will cover his back. Unlike most operators you encounter, you can't fight back; most attackers you can engage in a firefight, and shield users can be dealt with a nitro. BB has the advantage of a shield user while being able to pick you off you run into him way before you can get a nitro off.

He needs a shield nerf so he doesn't stay perched on a window all day and basically controls the room forever.

Nah. Attackers have the range advantage. This is an intentional design trait. It forces the defenders to use the map to their advantage, because theoretically, if they engage the attackers otherwise the attackers will just take the range advantage and win. This gets disrupted by SMG headshot seeking, but otherwise it works out according to theory.

Now, we could have more defenders with carbines, like Jaeger, but that apparently means a less-accurate SMG with more damage per shot. Except it's not actually good at range because you can't headshot seek.

Honestly I like it this way. If you've been to the other generals, you'll know how most of them go to shit when people try to force them to be active. While I think we need more constant updates to keep the game alive, I'm pleasantly surprised we've managed to keep the general's quality above average, and a part of that is the result of not forcing discussions and knowing to come back when new content is out.

Just an FYI lads, but the Far Cry 2 hate is a meme from the boys whose first Far Cry was the third one. Over on reddit you had some boys who marathoned through the game and were looking back at the series looking to get more out of it. Far Cry was too old and made by different devs, so it was spared, but Far Cry 2 with all it's differences in playstyle got the brunt of their lashings and got this sort of meme hate going for it.

While I know I shouldn't be encouraging the spread of stage 3 Blackbeard cancer (or just reiterating basic things you should know about the game), I can't ignore something that I also had a problem with.

Always aim at their heads, and try to fire in bursts of 3-4 shots from long range (like down hallways and such) and empty mags at considerably close quarters. After 4 shots the horizontal recoil begins to kick in, so you'll have to compensate for it by moving slowly from left to right (I'm assuming that you're still moving down to compensate for the regular recoil); pic related. By the way, shield slightly reduces upwards recoil, so never remove it, and always have it facing where you'll think you'll get shot from (that means during reload animations turn around so your shield faces that spot).

I believe that's all you need to know to drop people 90% of the time instead of just downing them.

Had to mute it. I can't take screechers. With that said the point of Glaz is to be high damage and long range sniper. He demonstrated non of those things in the last video, and the other two videos could have been done by anybody else with an ACOG; BB is a better Glaz because he can stand outside places like the House video and have a shield, basically doing Glaz's job while having better protection.

Now a good Glaz on plane scares the shit out of everybody. He'll kill the team, the enemy team, and the hostage without setting foot into the plane.

For the earlier Glaz conversation, I do quite well with him sometimes even if I'm not watching windows from outside. I thought he was pretty useless in a game like this when I first started playing, but his gun has since grown on me.

I can't believe it's been 8 months since this game has come out and they've done absolutely nothing to make Castle not a waste of space. Even IQ got better since release.

Am I the only one who thinks Mutes MP5K is terrible? I continually get out DPS'd by attackers even at point blank range. It should be a powerhouse at short range from a shorter barrel and an increased fire rate than a standard MP5 from the result of a lighter bolt.

It's just horrible for me. I've been using his shotgun, but it's not too impressive either. What they should do is just give mute an MP5SD that doesn't have a damage reduction from the suppressor.

So I've figured out that after you hit plat it's literally impossible to solo carry yourself. I've played solo up to plat 1 and now the game refuses to make balanced matches. My team ALWAYS has awful stats while the enemy team is stacked 2.0+ everything, and this is every single match. As soon as I derank back to gold 4 i get matched against shitters again, win, and go back to the same shit. Leavers, bad players, teamkillers. Every single match, against full premade stacks of diamonds or high plat with stupid stats. I thought it was coincidence at first but it's so consistently unbalanced that there's no way this is an accident

It's an assaulty type of power. I tend to get my back to a wall or something indestructible if possible, and advance with my shield up. Flash when someone pops up, wait a second and if nobody else pops up or shoots me, try to shoot the flashed target. For the most part I am quite willing to forfeit my own kills and points if I can use my shield and self to protect my team.
